WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

It's Monday !!! Easter was AWESOME!!!!!! Great church service and a great time with family! I got my suitcase almost packed to leave on Friday. Next on the list is to get DH in the mood to pack. I'm worried about leaving my Mom. I take her dinner every night but Friday and I make sure she takes her pills so I am worried that she won't get checked on every day. I wish she would let the people at Life come and visit her.

You'll have to work on her to let them visit her when you're on holiday. Maybe she's concerned that you'll visit less as a result... might be worth re-assuring her you'll continue to visit the same as ever.
I was a bit low on the protein today as today was a holiday and I spent more time sleeping and less time eating. I'll back to business as usual tomorrow!! ;-)

Maybe you can get someone to check on her and she will think it is just a visit. I know it is a worry.
It is a beautiful day here, warm and sunny. I finished clipping Teke and he should be happier with no winter coat for the days. He can wear a sheet at night to be sure he stays warm enough then. He was so good about it all, almost falling asleep standing there while I worked on him. He deserved a day or so off after our camping trip where he worked hard every day. Muscle pump tonight!!!

I've told my sister and my brother that I'm going. What's so sad is my Mom lives above my brothers garage (formerly her house) and even though I've asked him to take her over dinner a couple of days a week he never does. He says they never know what they are eating or doing. I finally just gave up and I do it myself but yesterday I informed him and his wife that she can't eat sandwich meat every day that I am gone and someone has to check and make sure she takes her pills.
You must be very gentle that Teke would fall asleep.

Glad you had a good Easter. We did too. I know we couldn't depend on my brother to help with anything.... My sister would have to do it all since she lives about 4 doors down from my parents and we are 4 hours away. I guess all your daughters will be with you too or maybe one of them could check on her.
I'm trying not to eat any food today. Just drinking protein drinks. I am trying to get all the junk out of my system that I ate over the weekend. I'm not hungry when I eat most of the time, it is just all my in head!!
