Menus and Miles Tuesday April 22nd for Roz
Hi everyone
Roz asked me to start this today. Her office is without power and she was having problems doing it from her iPad.
My scale is in the zone where it shouldn't be - so I'm back on track today (I hope). I can feel carbs have taken over my body and I need to decarb - don't like the icky feeling it gives me, but I need to do it.
B - coffee so far
S - 2 eggs
L - grazed, cheese slices, some peanuts, some cashews, ham
D - low carb cheeseburger soup (was very good)
S - popcorn (why do I bother low-carbing if I do this???)

We finally got electric!! A transformer caught on fire and 1/4 of our town was in the dark. Everyone was moaning because the coffee pot wouldn't work but no one complained that we didn't have any computers or phones....LOL. ME...I was freezing so I borrowed someones sweatshirt....a hot cup of tea would have been wonderful!
Breakfast: Banana
Lunch: Bean Soup
Snack: 1 Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Cheese Wedge on 6 Saltines
Snack: Nature Valley Nut Bar
Dinner: DH is suppose to call me and let me know what he wants
Snack: 2 TBS. Popcorn, plain, made in microwave

Haha - that's funny. I can imagine no coffee would have been a BIG issue for many folks (would have been me!).

Hi Jody. I'm back to work today - boo!! :-( Sleeping in was good over the long weekend!! ;-) Oh well, I have a better protein total at least.

The weather changed here - yesterday was gorgeous, today is cool, windy and cloudy and I want to take a nap!!
Been a busy day otherwise for work, so that keeps me awake. Another meeting and a couple of contractors coming over later for house projects.
I have been bad with my vitamins and need to get back on track. That also may be why I'm a bit lethargic.

I just throw in some spinach and salad dressing (oil based vinaigrette or some mayo).
You sound pretty saintly with your food choices, I can claim saintliness as far as vitamins and protein minimums are concerned... carbs are a who other thing!! ;-)

Good Morning,
Back from my trip to see my Mom, it went great. Stayed on plan with eating for the most part, had a few days where I didn't get enough protein, but overall did pretty good and I ended up losing 2.8 lbs while I was gone :)
B: Coffee w/non dairy creamer....1/2 hr later-Premier Protein shake
L: 3 oz Tuna, 1 boiled Egg & 1 tbsp Miracle Whip
S: Cheese stick
D: Hamburger & cabbage stir fry
S: Premier Protein shake & 1 scoop of Miralax
X: 35 mins elliptical, 30 min strength/weight training & abs
W: Working on it
V: Done
Cal: 848 Carb: 24 Protein: 108 Fat: 36
