Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

It's Good Friday.  DH and our DD's have today off......  I think all of our clients think we are closed and it's super boring today.  They are all coming over this evening so we can color eggs tonight.

One wee****il vacation......!!!!!!!


Breakfast:  1/2 = Scrambled 1 egg, 1/4 cup eggbeater whites, and 1/4 cup diced ham     
Lunch:        Chicken strips
Snack:        Banana
Snack:        laughing Cow Cheese Wedge with 6 Saltines
Dinner:      

Snack:        2 TBS. Popcorn, plain, made in microwave

Yea!  Have fun on your vacation!

I'm heading to MI tomorrow for a few weeks.  It will be good to see the girls again.

I got on the scale this morning and had another OMG moment.  I knew I was flirting with disaster and disaster struck.  So.... I've got to get back to basics.  I've got 3 weeks until my next major excursion....

Of course I've been eating carby and could feel the carbs today (or effects of them).

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so

At least we have hope now when disaster hits!!  Before WLS I would just give up after I saw the scale. Maybe the girls will keep you sooo busy it will make the weekend easier.

Our house livened up when I got home and the DD's and families came to color eggs.  There were a few minutes there I was wishing for quiet....lol I have some very talented grandkids and son-in-laws!

Boy did I blow it today! 

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
S - protein coffee (30g) and a cup of Greek yogur****bl of little blueberries and Splenda
S - 
L - white chicken chili
S - 1/2 cup peanuts
S - GS cookies---don't ask
D - Trader Joe's shrimp nuggets, veggies, and 2 little corn muffins 
S -

haha...We usually buy 10 boxes of GS cookies but since none of our nieces called us we didn't buy a single one....YEAH!!  I love the Oatmeal/Peanut butter ones (at least a little protein...lol)

Hi Roz,

Happy Good Friday!!  I was off today, but boy has it been a busy day.  DGD#2 came to my house at 7:15 this morning for me to take to school.  DD had an appointment at 7:30 this morning.  After dropping her off, I went to Walmart and got things I needed for this weekend and a cake I'm making for a baby shower next weekend.  Got my house cleaned really good.  DH says he can't see the TV in the living room anymore so we moved all the furniture around so he could see better, then he didn't like that so he moved it all back-LOL.  I told him he was crazy!!

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Sausage & Onions, 1/2 low carb tortilla wrap

S:  Red Seedless Grapes

I bought some chocolate eggs to put on the Easter cake I'm baking for Sunday, but have eaten quite a few of them on and off today....

That's so funny!  We never move our furniture!!  BUT last night we switched our love seat and new recliner I got DH for his birthday.  He hates his new chair because it doesn't rock.... so I'm hoping he uses it some since he will be able to see out the window. It's going to take a while to get used to it.  Do you have a big screen TV? 

When I make up the baskets tonight I'm going to try really hard to stay out of the candy!

Spent the am cleaning then to Good Friday service this afternoon. This evening out to eat and then grocery shopping. I am trying to cut ack on snacks, don't know if it is going to work or not.  If I don't eat fairly often I get pretty hungry.

b protein oatmeal with banana and walnuts

L salmon and egg salad in ww tortilla, carrots

S greek   yogurt, walnuts , craisins, bds

D out to Ruby Tuesdays   half of a grilled salmon dinner with zucchini, spaghetti squash, one tiny cheese biscuir

S fuzzy navel shake with frozen fruit blended in.

miles walked and  hour, vites good, fluids 15 cups
