I might buy a new set of luggage instead of splurging on things I don't really need.

HI Roz
I'm heading back to MI for Easter. It will be fun to watch the girls. I won a HUGE Easter basket at the home show and gave it to my daughter for the girls.
Carby day ahead. I've got pretty much everything in the freezer, so not much to choose from for lunches/dinners. Trying to eat/use up what's in the fridge so it doesn't go back while I'm gone
Went through my closet and drawers last night and cleaned them out. I have 4 tote containers full that I'm taking back to MI with me for donation. Well, one I'm keeping and it's just for storage. That even includes shoes! I didn't go through the shorts as much though. I know I have some that don't fit but I'm really hoping that I can get back into them. I finally had to let go of clothes that I know I'll never get back into again, even if I got down to the weight I want since everything has shifted so much. I even parted with 2 or 3 pairs of "Not My Daughters' Jeans"... I had a ton of jeans and had bought about 4 pairs of new ones lately, which I mostly wear. Time to part with some of them too. It feels good though seeing my closet all organized and cleaned out, and the drawers.

The little ones make Easter so much fun. Our 6 yr. old keeps seeing a bunny in her back yard and she really believes it is the Easter Bunny watching over her house. I filled over 400 eggs for our egg hunt and I think my sister filled about 150. It is suppose to be in the 70's so it should be a fun day. It's been cold and rainy the last few years.
After DD and family moved out I had a lot more closet space so I got all organized as far as separating winter/summer clothes. I don't think I have anything that doesn't fit me now. I knew I'd never get back down to 103 again so I sent a few pairs of jeans to Tazz and everything else went to a charity. Have you ever tried the skinny jeans at American Eagle (they don't look skinny)? All the ladies at my office wear them and they look so nice in them and they don't have perfect figures. I might venture in there and try a pair on for the fun of it. I don't wear jeans often but they say these are really comfortable.
Love the double Protein Coffee!!

I have some "skinny" jeans from the Loft that are that way - not skin tight but fit well. In fact - I have them on today! I'm liking those and the straight leg jeans better - I think they are more flattering on me. I even got my daughter wearing them. People compliment her on her jeans and ask where she got them and she says "Loft"... now she knows that's more of an "older lady store" and apologizes from the get-go saying "My Mom got them for me and I love them - they're so comfy". I had to laugh the first time I heard her say that! Heck, you can't say the Loft is a cheap store either - but I got most of them on the 50% off sale..
My extra clothes will be going to my sisters' Outreach program. When I go home to MI I get to do this again... Seems I have more summer stuff in VA and more winter stuff in MI (makes sense) but am limited during the "off seasons" both places. I need to get them evened out more. I'll be making a list of what I need in both places so I can do that. I still tend to take a "bag" of clothes with me back and forth of my favorites (like jeans) and a few tops/shirts.

Maybe I should go there instead of the American Eagle so I'm not embarrassed to say I bought them at a young peoples store....LOL. I think it's a pain living out of 2 closets and you live out of 2 houses!!
I went this morning before work and bought DH some shorts for our vacation. I told him at the end of summer I can going to get everything cleaned and then pack them in my suitcase so I don't have to dig them all out again to go on our Dec. cruise. I'm going to be super busy getting ready for Christmas so this will be one less thing I have to worry about.

I can eat a fare bit of volume, but I didn't eat 3 all at once - I spaced the fruit out over time.

Hi Roz,
Today was my Friday. I'm off tomorrow. I have to meet DD in the morning at 7:30 to take DGD#2 to school. DD is having her CT scan for her doctors appointment next Thursday. Hoping everything is still ok with her. I bought eggs that already had the candy in them!! We only have our DGD's that hunt since DGS is too small this year. He will probably join them next year. They were suppose to have the big fly in Easter bunny tomorrow afternoon but I think they are going to have to reschedule it because of rain. They have a plane that flies over and drops the eggs in a field out in the country and the Easter Bunny is in the plane. The kids love it and it is free to anyone who wants to go.

AWE that sounds like so much fun!! Did they cancel it??? This is going to be the first nice Easter weekend we have had in years. We are so looking forward to it. DD's are taking their kids to a big Easter Celebration tomorrow where everything is free....egg hunt, blow up rides, shaped balloons, face painting etc. They put on a really nice Easter puppet show about the Resurrection. I think DH is going to tag along with them because my Mom and I are going for a pedicure in the morning.
Sounds Good Linda!
