Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Happy Monday!!!    Yesterday and today was 70+ degrees and tonight it is dropping back down to 19!!!  Cooked out on the grill Sat. and Sunday.  The Grandkids had a ball riding in all of the battery cars we have.  The 2 grandson's followed Pappy in his golf cart and they went for an adventure over the fields.  They thought they were soooo Big getting to ride so far from the house (without all of the girls).    Not much planned for eating today.  I'm not very hungry.

Lunch:        Tuna Salad on 6 Saltines           
Snack:        Nature Valley Almond, Peanut, Sunflower Seed Bar

Hi Roz - the weather here in VA was perfect too.  It teases us with the nice temps then throws reality back at us.  I think we DESERVE to keep the warm temps because of the miserable winter we just endured!

Went motorcycling this past weekend.  First time I got the bike out since last Oct. 

Eating today isn't good.  Lately I just can't seem to stop when I know I need to and feel horrible after.  Yesterday I wasn't hungry for dinner either and didn't end up eating.  Just munched a few pieces of cheese.

B - coffee and a double protein coffee

L - chinese (that's what I ate too much of)

D - I'm going to try and skip it.  I ate enough at lunch to cover both.  I'm going to be busy tonight so that will help also.

Vits:  yes

water:  ok, not great.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months.

When I go through a faze like this then I have to start measuring or portion control by using containers until I get through it.

70 minutes on the treadmill today, hurray!

B-cold chicken

L-small salad with honey ham

S-premier vanilla/mocha frozen shake(I love these)

D-more chicken and veggies of some kind

S-protein bar, 2-3 Tbl. Popcorn

Shame about the weather.  Apparently we have a heatwave coming this weekend!! :-D

Well, I managed to get my doc to prescribe me 2 batches a day of calcium citrate... that's doubled from the original one.  That only leaves 6 batches a day for me to sort, he he.

I'm hoping to be in a Heat Wave in 11 days when we land in Florida and then hopefully when we get home winter will be gone and flowers will be coming up!!!

We are predicted to have the same weather you are. It is starting to bet colder already and raining.  Spent the day at the hospital today for his colonoscopy.

For some reason I am really hungry today. Trying to white knuckle it.

B ww tortilla, turkey sausage, egg, mushrooms, guacaomole

S almonds and orange

L out to Mexican restauraunt after his test, I had half of a chicken salad

S greek yogurt, craisins, bran buds, walnuts

D I think the leftover chicken from lunch in a salad

S popcorn or protein drink

Fluids 9 cups so far, vites yes, miles walked an hour

Out of town this week on business. I may be a little scarce but I'll check-in as I can.

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
S - protein coffee (30g) and a cup of Greek yogur****bl of little blueberries and Splenda
S - 1/2 cup peanuts
L - protein shake (30g)
S - 
D - going out, so not sure yet (chocolate martini, a few bites of a fries-something appetizer, house salad, and crab stuffed portobello mushroom
