WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
DH goes to his new Heart Doctor today. We are very hopeful that he will be able to answer our questions and adjust DH's medicine so he starts to feel better.

Fingers and toes crossed hoping you get some answers and better meds! My DH abandoned his garage/fence build idea! Today we bought tiles for my newly installed kitchen and we are going to tile the back splash over the Easter 4 day weekend... See, my plan worked. Agree, be positive and then they decide it's a bad idea all on their own. Wish I'd figured this out years,no decades ago!!!

Still daylight here so I am working on my vitamins and water. Lots of shopping but no real miles.
The Dr. was wonderful!!! DH left there so hopeful. He changed a few meds and took 1 away. I want my "old" DH back!!!
How many years have you been married?
Do you put flavoring in your protein drink or are you having the Syntrax Lemon Tea?
Sounds Good!

That's fantastic news about your DH! I am so happy for you. It is so hard when they aren't well or fully at least. Hope this does the trick. We celebrate 19 years this September - we got married young! And I am not sure yet which flavor protein I will use - either lemon tea or chocolate truffle for a hot chocolate.
Enjoy your friday!!
Hi Roz
I hope the Dr's visit goes well and your DH starts feeling better.
My DD is going to look for a new pediatrician for her kids. The one she has now just blows her off when she asks questions. She doesn't put up with much crap either, so I imagine she'll let him know how she feels about it before she does. She's already fired a few Dr's!
I woke up at 3 am this morning and my mind was just going about work. I decided I should just get up and get it done. Glad I did as it took quite awhile to do it. My work desk (at home) sits in the bedroom here in VA, so that works out well. In fact, I'm still sitting in my pajamas... but I'm starting to fade... a nap is in the near future..
B - coffee ( but not until 7ish)
B2/L - scrambled eggs with ham/mushrooms/pepper
D - not sure. if I go out it is probably sushi, if I stay in I have some leftover roasted chicken

Loved the Dr.!!! He listened to everything we had to say and then made some changes with his meds. DH joints have been killing him so he put him on a new cholesterol medicine that is not suppose to cause that. He was worried about our insurance paying for it but it went through so hopefully it helps him.
My DD's take their kids to a PA who they Trust completely. They followed him from their original Pediatricians office to where he is now but in a few weeks he is opening his own office and they are so excited because the Dr. where he is now insists they see him every 3rd time and my DD's can't stand him. It is soooo important that you like your Dr.
Hope you get your nap in. I make bad decisions when I'm tired.
Dumb Question: Is Sushi good for you? I really don't have a clue but I see others eating it too.

I have to pick DGD#2 up from school today and keep her for a couple of hours. We are having a spend the night party tomorrow night with the DGD's and taking them somewhere tomorrow after - not sure where yet.. So it is going to be a very busy weekend too.

The office visit went great!!! We both really liked the Dr. DH was very hopeful when we left his office. The Dr. even talked to him about being scared of having another heart attack. I know his meds are causing him to be tired and his joints aching but I think not sleeping and being depressed are just from fear. The Dr. reassured him that he could do whatever he wanted.
Our grandson asked our granddaughter to sleep over tonight and she told him no she was too scared so he is spending the night at her house. Tomorrow we are going to a high school music of Shriek. I think they are really going to like it.
House has Beth been feeling?
Sounds Good!

So glad the appointment went good. I would probably be scared too. I remember when I had Beth by c-section I was so afraid everything in me was going to fall out-lol!
Beth is doing good. She is having a ct scan in a couple of weeks to see if the fungus is active or growing. Last time they checked it was not active or growing. That is what we are praying for so she does not have to take the medicine.
i am fixing to go pick up the girls for our spend the night. We are suppose to go to the zoo but DH's foot is hurting do not sure what we will do.
All the best for the hubs!!
Duh, I left my lunch at home today so I bought a jacket potato from the sandwich guy followed by an emergency handbag protein bar not too long after, so I survived. I'm clearly in need of a weekend though - he he!!
