I would if I could Roz - but I am just not that savvy with the computer - you all will have to go to my profile page to see the b&A photos :)

Got DH and boys home for a long weekend and we are planning to put up a new rear fence and gate and create a new parking space for DH's car.  Should prove a testament to our love if we survive!

B:  Coffee then protein coffee = 38g

L:  Quiche and green salad = 12g

S:  2 slices of lite swiss = 14g

S:  Fuzzy Navel protein shake = 23g

D:  Leftover pork roast w/ baby broad beans = 24g

S:  Hot chocolate protein = 23g

All my vitamins and water good so far.  No miles except yard work!  And YAY - no nuts of any kind.  Been hard to resist a few times - I find the 5pm hour to be my worst I just want to eat for some reason, then it passes and I forget all about it.  Weird.  Annoying.  I still feel no hunger so it's all in my head!  Grr......

LOL...I want banisters on my front porch but I'm thinking of paying someone to do it just to keep the peace.  DH used to be able to do all of the kind of stuff but the older he gets the shorter his patience are.

Sounds Good!

My new strategy is to say YES - DH is so used to me saying No Way that it throws him of guard.  Often his more hairbrained ideas fizzle out on their own but now he gets to that point all by himself instead of us getting all bent out of shape arguing over it.  So far it is working out to be very effective -

Hi Roz - back from my vacation.  Wish I could say I'm ready to jump back into the working world, but I'm not... my entire vacation had me thinking of what I could do to make my retirement permanent!  Crunched some numbers today and, nope - can't do it just yet.

I let myself go a little while on vacation with the eating and allowed a few more carbs than normal, but didn't go overboard.  I still have to be mindful of my Reactive Hypoglycemia and that keeps me in check.  The scale was the same today as when I left, but my clothes aren't fitting the same... I'll probably take up tomorrow 3 lbs heavier...

Having some "intestinal distress" today for some reason.  Not sure what I ate that is causing it, but it happened a few other times during the past week.  Doesn't keep me from eating though...

B - coffee

L - leftover pizza - 2 slices (and today i was going to get back on track - ugh - but it's gone now)

S - a few SF pickles

D - no idea

Vits:  not yet

Water:  doing ok with my decaf tea

If you are having intestinal distress and your clothes are fitting different it could just be bloating.  Hopefully nothing shows up on the scale.

I am amazed how much looser my dress pants are in the stomach and legs (needing hemmed but scared to) and I have little to no swelling since I'm on this special diet for my IC. Basically:  Low Carb, no fast foods, and no MSG on labels.

It's hard to get back to "normal" after being away. Did you have a good time? Pictures?

I just had my 4th quarterly body scan and although I was a pound heavier, there were no differences in body fat, etc.  But my jeans don't fit.  All are too tight in the waist and my trunk is the lowest body fat area of my whole body.  I just don't get it.

I didn't realize that you weren't out!  I can't imagine keeping it a secret.  I tell people even when I don't need to. I was at a store and a lady said "you are such a little thing" and I blurted it out...then I thought why in world can't you just take a compliment!!!

Can you have White Chocolate (not sure if the make it)?  I'm allowed to eat white chocolate and I don't seem to bloat from it.

Sounds Good!
