Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

I am finally getting into the Easter Mode.  I forgot to order the Chocolate Crosses that I always put in the baskets so I left the candy lady a message and I'm hoping she hasn't run out.  I hope I hear from her soon.    DH and I had a quite Sunday afternoon.  We watched our youngest grandson but he slept most of the afternoon.  He is 15 months old and finally took 5 steps.  Our middle DD was 15.5 months before she walked so I wasn't panicked but of course DD is starting to get upset over it.   Busy day at work today.  My Manager will be in this afternoon thank goodness!

Aw, I bet those first steps were so cute!!

Anways, I'm happy to report that I'm over my case of cracked corners of the lips - AKA angular chelitis which looked like the pic below (it's more painful than it looks). Mine was fixed by taking 5,000mcg of Superior Source biotin for 3 days. I'm hoping taking it 2 or 3 times a week will suffice, but I'll play with it and see how I feel as there doesn't seem to be a lab for this one as far as I see.

I will own up to having about 4 raw egg whites about a month ago (it's the only way to have meringue with Splenda, otherwise you have to use sugar if you're cooking it). Anyway, note to self, just don't eat raw eggs!!

Wikipedia says "deficiencies can be caused by consuming raw egg whites over a period of MONTHS to YEARS." I'm guessing 4 raw egg whites for me equated to a normy consuming them for months or years!!  I think I was teetering on deficient anyway, which is why I had a box of it in the house.

WOW...that does look sore!  Have you had it before?  I have a niece who is always getting sores in the corners of her mouth but I've never asked her what it was.  I'm sure glad it's gotten healed up!

I seem to have had some sort of recollection of having had it as a young child (maybe 5 years old) but you kinda just put up with stuff at that age as you don't really know what normal is.  I guess it's something I'm prone to, even if I haven't had it for several decades.
