Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

I'm Back!!!   What a great weekend DH and I had at the Cheer Competition!  We didn't take any of the (extra) grandkids with us so it was pretty relaxing if you can call running between 3 cheer floors so we didn't miss any of the 12 teams that DD took to compete.  Our 6 year old DGD's team took first and she was soooo excited!  My DD won the "MY COACH ROCKS" for the second year in a row so that was pretty awesome. She soooo deserves it!  I am so very Proud of her!   My Menu is not MY typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I have to limit them to 1 every other day because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome).  Success means:  Protein first then add other foods!!!!

Breakfast:     1 Banana
Lunch:           1 Egg and 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites Scrambled
Snack:

Snack:
1 Nature Valley Almond, peanut, sunflower seed (Gluten Free) Protein bar
Snack:           1 Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Cheese Wedge and 6 Saltines

HI Linda - I bought some of that Famatadine (sp) you recommended.  It DOES work, if I remember to take it!  I found you need to take it consistently to get the best benefits.

Thanks!

It works best for me if I take it first thing in the morning with a sip of water before I eat or drink anything else.

Glad it is working for you.  It is a lot cheaper than some of the other things.

Hope you feel better Price.

I was going to make some carbquik cinnamon rolls yesterday, but didn't have enough carbquik.  I ordered some last week but it hasn't gotten here yet.

I'm not very adverturous with it.  I make the cheddar rolls for sandwiches and that is about all.  I like the cinnamon rolls but I just keep looking at it and thinking white flour and not good for you.  I'm still not sure it really is low carb, high fiber, high protein.
