Menus and Miles Friday March 28th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
Happy Dance.....it's Friday!!! I'm only working until 11:30 today......!!! We are heading to Columbus, OH for this seasons last away Competition with all 12 teams. They only teams that will continue competing are the teams that won bids to go on to Florida. Jody is going to start M&M over the weekend and I should be back on Monday. Last year a huge snow storm hit and we decided to stay over another day but decent weather is predicted for this weekend. I've really been using my Fusion Bottle and Pitcher. I tried fruit in it but I got heartburn so I'm trying cucumber with mint herbs and it is pretty refreshing. Any ideas of what I could put in it would be appreciated! My Menu is not MY typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I have to limit them to 1 every other day because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome). Success means: Protein first then add other foods!!!!Breakfast: 1 Banana
Lunch: 1 Egg and 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites Scrambled
Snack:
Snack: 1 Nature Valley Almond, peanut, sunflower seed (Gluten Free) Protein bar
Snack: 1 Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Cheese Wedge and 6 Saltines
Dinner: Eating On the Road Trip
Calories: 1064 Protein: 66 Net Carbs: 101

Happy Aloha Friday!
I have my nephew for the weekend starting tonight after he gets out of school. Since his dad passed away from a massive heart attack, I've had him sleepovers since he was about 3 years old. He just turned 7 years old on Tuesday. I bought some healthy snacks for all of us and am planning on making home-made pizzas. He loves helping me in the kitchen. It's always fun having him.

Hi Roz, you could try some mint which is meant to be very good for the stomach. Luckily I'm mostly OK with stomach issues and am eating a pretty hot curry - it's given me a runny nose, he he.
You got me excited talking about M&Ms... I want some chocolate now! :-(
Anyway, have a nice weekend and I look forward to Jody's posts. :-)
