WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Hi Roz.  I made a low-carb lasagna last night and I think I "dumped" on the fat... there was a lot of grease from the cheese, etc. I haven't had a problem with fat in ages, unless I was just having a real picky pouch, but before that I had no issues.  It also could have been my "last 2 bites" that I said to myself "you're overdoing it!"  You use ham instead of noodles for the layers.  It was good.  Then when I felt better I ate some multi-grain chips (my ONLY downfall going to the grocery store) and felt HORRIBLE again.  I left my PPI's in Michigan and need to get more... My menu yesterday wasn't anything what I posted!  I didn't end up eating lunch, but grazed on some cashews and ate a few sugar free pickle spears and a bite of BBQ pork.

Came into the office today so I'll be reigned in a bit - no grazing.

I wi**** were Friday too...

Today:

B - coffee

S - 2 1/2 scoop chocolate protein drink in unsweetened almond milk

L - the last of the leftover hamburg surprised from the freezer (didn't eat it for lunch yesterday)  Now my tummy hurts again - portion was too big.

D - going out probably.  I do have a afternoon/evening meeting and they have munchies, but usually it's chips and cheese.  I'll stick to the cheese and hopefully they'll have a few veggies

I love it when my tool gives me a wake up call!!  My pouch is picky if I do crazy things two days in a row.  Maybe its over reacting because of that. The lasagne sounds good with ham in it.

Hope you start feeling better!

AWE...that's too bad.  Early out I couldn't drink the Protein Drinks.  Just keep trying it. I have to use a lot of crushed ice in mine.  It doesn't taste very good when it's warm. Did you use a shaker cup with a Lid?   You can put Crystal lite, MIO, SF Koolaide or any kind of flavoring in it that you like. Try half Lemon Tea and 1/2 of the strawberry-kiwi.

Love the Totals!

Thanks, I tried the strawberry kiwi in my almond milk this afternoon and it was ok...I'll have to figure out something with the tea, I did mix it with crystal light and it was still next to impossible to drink ;(

I'm not even close to being early out, so I don't think it's that ;)

I put a Lemon Tea Crystal Lite stick in 16-20 ozs of water and mix it good then add a scoop of the lemon tea protein powder and mix it and fini**** off with crushed ice.  I use more water than others.  I don't like it very strong.

If you have a magic bullet or blender of some type, you can put the milk, protein powder in it and add some crushed ice and blend it really good.  It is almost like a milk shake.  I do it with the chocolate truffle.  I also add a little lite cool whip to mine to make it a little thicker.

Good luck.

Linda

Thanks Linda, I'll try it a little weaker and see if that works.  If not, I'll try the tea with some diet Snapple and see how that goes.  I do use my bullet on the chocolate, vanilla...ect, and don't have a problem with them. I was just trying to find something I could use in water instead of my almond milk.  I'm going to Cabo at the end of April and I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the almond milk there.  I'll figure out something ;)
