NSV's
Since I'm still in my stall, I decided to think about and share my non-scale victories since my surgery.
First and foremost I can wear my work clothes comfortably again and don't feel like a sausage on the grill about to explode!
Since last May I have had such painful ankles that walking was getting next to impossible and the pain had me avoiding going up and down stairs and walking for exercise was all but out of the question. If I suffered through it and did it anyway, I would pay dearly the rest of the day. Well, I am ecstatic to say that weight loss has all but eliminated that problem. I have had a few flare ups but they have been very manageable and short lived.
My face is starting to look like "me" again. I always gain weight in my face first and my features have been so distorted and now I see the old me re-emerging!
This might be the biggest one. I feel hopeful again and I haven't felt that way for years. I've "only" lost 23 lbs but I already feel like a different person.
I'm sure there will be more along the way but I guess 4 is a good start!
Congrats on your WOW's!!!! You should start making a list on your Profile page because the closer you get to goal these first WOW's kind of slip away into the past.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Congrats on your NSV's! Like Roz said - write them down - you'll be amazed at how many you will accumulate over time.

The mind is kind of a crazy thing. I know you all are right, how many I'll accumulate but I fear I'll just take for granted if I don't record it. Days after my surgery I sat down to right the "Top Ten Reasons I Hate Being Fat" and I couldn't come up with ten! I know they are there, I just can't remember them. Weird.
