You'll get used to the numbers soon enough - it was weird to me too when I first started counting protein.

NEVER....LOL.  I don't want to count anything!!!!  I am really sticking to my Drs. list so I can heal enough to get back on my Protein drinks.  I counted calories, points, exchanges for over 30 years and I don't want to do that ever again!!

Good afternoon!

It's sunny here but a bit cool outside.  I'll be happy when Mother Nature makes up her mind.

I can't see getting enough protein with just eating food.  I eat small meals often and know I wasn't getting enough protein until it was suggested to supplement.  Tomorrow is payday so I'll be hitting The Vitamin Shoppe for more protein shakes and going to the seafood store for fish.  I usually cook fish twice a week but didn't go to the seafood store last payday.  Honestly, I'm craving fish.

I see only Protein drinks in my future...no counting!  If I get my usual 3 or 4 drinks in then I don't have to count anything!!

Sounds Good!!!

This is my first time posting on menus and miles, but I like the accountability aspect! Plus, I like having to confess that I got a small slurpee today so let the tongue lashing begin. (You can't tell me anything I haven't told myself... I'm an idiot.) Forgive me if I do it wrong, until I can learn how. Since I'm posting later in the day, most of this has already happened, but I like that you all post what you plan to eat b/c that will force me to plan (which I'm not good at...thus the snack problems today.)

Breakfast:     1 Premiere Protein Shake (Snack Size)  (9)

Snack:           1 Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese Stick (7)
Lunch:           1/2 cup of Campbell's Healthy Request Soup (4) and Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt (5)

Snack:           1 Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese Stick (7)

Snack:           1 8 Oz Slurpee (I know, I know...) (0)

Calories: 458   Protein: 36     Carbs: 48 (Remember, I'm only 2 weeks post-op...)

Dinner:          TBD, but for sure a large Protein Shake for 30 more grams of Protein!

No tongue lashing here....LOL!!!  Welcome to M&M!!!!!

Maybe just learn to make your own slurpees at home using SF koolaide or flavorings.

The 30 grams of Protein would be awesome to get your totals up!
