Today I heard about tongue mesh to lose weight. Apparently you get it sewn on for a month and it's too painful to eat solids, so you're on liquids for a month. The procedure costs ~$600 and there are more details here http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/tongue-mesh

That sounds awful!!!! Yesterday I burnt my tongue and the roof of mouth on some really hot tea...Oh my goodness did it drive me crazy all day!! I can't even imagine having something sewn onto my tongue! It just sounds like a quick way to lose weight but not a good way to learn to eat right in order to keep it off.
No protein in your cookie...lol?? Surely there is some egg in it!

Protein in my cookie - maybe a smidgeon, but I don't want to kid myself that it's health food. Besides it was part of my farewell to junk food as I'm now walking the straight and narrow as I'm a new diet!! ;-)

Ewwww - I knew someone back in the early '90's who had their jaws wired shut so they couldn't eat solid foods to lose weight.
HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"
Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?
