Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Morning LW's!!!!   This was an exciting Friday morning for me!  I stepped on the scale and it said 118....!!!!   I haven't seen 118 for a looooong time.  119 is the norm when I'm eating right. Loved 112 about 3 years ago but I don't expect to ever see that again...LOL  Before they figured out what was causing  my cramping I had ate myself up to 124 with comfort carbs. So thankful they figured it out before the carbs were completely taking  over!

I haven't tracked what I'm eating for quite awhile and since my menus have changed I figured I better see where I am at. I couldn't even remember the site I posted on but thankfully it was on my Profile page.

My Menu is not MY typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I have to limit them to 1 every other day because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome).  Success means:  Protein first then add other foods!!!!

Breakfast:     Shake:  1/2 cup Cottage Cheese, 1 Scoop Syntrax  Lemon Tea,  1/2 cup Frozen Peaches
Lunch:           1 egg, 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites, 1/4 diced Ham and low sodium tuna fish
...a plate full of yummy deliciousness!!!!
Snack:           Wraps: 1 Slice Deli Ham and 2 Slices of Swiss Cheese
Snack:

Snack:           Nature Valley Almond, peanut, sunflower seed crunch bar (gluten free)
Dinner:          No Plans yet but it will be based on Protein
Snack:           Popcorn

Totals for What's Listed:   Calories = 968   Protein = 100   Net Carbs = 50   Sugar = 17

My DD is 13 years old, Roz.  Funny thing though is that she's almost as tall as me.

Our DGD is 14 and she is going to be tall like her dad. She passed me up a long time ago.

WOOHOO Roz!  congrats!

My vacation scheduled for the middle of April has been moved up to the beginning of April.  Where I thought I had 4 weeks to get these other 3-4 lbs off, I now have 2... ugh.  I need to get serious again...

Got good news yesterday and today.  I'm taking a line of credit out on my house and the appraisal came back 30% higher than what I bought it for 1.5 years ago - WOOHOO!  I've put a lot of money into the house and it's nice to know I'll be able to get it back (if I decide to ever sell)... AND, they pushed it through quick so i get to close on it today before I head to VA on Sunday.  I wanted to get that finalized so I wasn't worrying about it.

B - 2 coffees and a protein coffee

L - leftover pork chop

D - Went to the home show and they had these roll-ups with ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce.  They were 2 for $3 but I got only one.  Just the right amount and it was very good.  nice to see food on the menu that's not only hot dogs and hamburgs.

Vits:yes

Water:  low - just getting started

Are you going any where on vacation?  That's great about your house.  My DD is fixing her's  up to sell.  She is only moving about 45 minutes away but I'm going to miss being able to stop in and taking DGD to the bus every day. I have 3 DD's but I see this one less the the others and now it's going to be worse.

I love going to home shows!  I get so many great ideas that I can't afford to do....LOL.   I agree about the food at most places.  They must have someone healthy on their set up committee. I'm surprised you got 2 for $3.00.  The food is terrible at the competitions and so expensive.  They had a small ready made peanut sandwich for the kids and it was $7.00.  A hamburger was $10.00.

Sounds Good!
