Menus and Miles Sat. March 22nd
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!
Morning LW's!!!! I totally forgot we had an All-Star Cheer Competition in Pittsburgh today...YEAH!!! I didn't get time to read yesterday's posts and I will be gone until later this evening so ENJOY your Saturday and I will catch you all later!!
There isn't much at these Comps that I can eat and I totally wasn't prepared. I'll do the best I can! I ordered my Vanilla Protein last night and I'm sure wishing I hadn't taken so long figuring out what kind to order.
PS: Scales were at 118 again this morning!
My Menu is not MY typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I have to limit them to 1 every other day because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome). Success means: Protein first then add other foods!!!!
Breakfast: Cottage Cheese Peach Shake
Lunch: 1 Egg and 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites (cold?)
Snack: Plain Popcorn made in my Microwave Popper
Snack: Banana
Snack: Nature Valley Almond, peanut, sunflower seed crunch bar (gluten free)
Dinner: Probably eating out
Snack: Plain Popcorn made in my Microwave Popper
Totals for What's Listed: Calories = 968 Protein = 100 Net Carbs = 50 Sugar = 17

Roz, I hope you had a great day at the cheer competition. I cheered in high school and loved every bit of it.
Spent the morning at the gym with both my son and daughter (my son was my guest). Originally I didn’t intend on going; the kids talked me into it. I’m glad I went. Working out does something to my mood. Hubby said that I was giddy when I got home.

Go Roz - looks like eating according to your new requirements is working for your body, I'm so happy for you!!
I'm seriously toying with the idea of going to a slimming club on Monday and doing it for 6 weeks which is when I go on holiday. If I could get off a couple of lbs a week in that time then I'd be happy. I'll still be looking to stay protein focussed, but I think going to a meeting will do me some good.
