Menus and Miles Mon. March 17th
It's pretty much a party holiday in our area. It gives all of the drinkers another excuse to go out. There was so many partying pictures on FB I was doubting that Monday was the real holiday. Actually before FB I didn't even know anyone celebrated other than wearing green that day...lol.
I'm glad you enjoyed your Danish without bloating. It sounds like something I would dump on. I am still shocked at how little bloating I have since I've been trying to eat only foods (brands) from my Drs. list. I'm really starting to believe she knows what shes talking about.
Sounds Good!

I don't have much green but I found a shirt with a little on it. My DGD was decked out in green....lol. DD said it was a major chore getting her dressed in the morning. DGD thought it had to be a certain shade of green and was putting on a really big fuss.
Sounds Yummy!

Are you Irish? We don't celebrate St. Patrick's day other than wearing green (if I remember). Looking at FB I think all of my friends had a good time over the weekend.
I love cabbage! Is that Irish?
Sounds Good!

We haven't had much rain but it's been really windy.
I don't think I've ever tried chicken in the crock pot. I need to find a recipe for that.
Sounds Good!

you don't need a recipe, lol. I just take a whole chicken and plop in the there on low all day. I sprinkle whatever seasoning sounds good, usually rosemary and whatever else. That's it. Stick a potato and carrot in and you have supper when you get home and lots of left overs.

We have been pretty dry but very windy. It looks like we are going to have a whole week of upper 40's....yeah!
I guess it was a major ordeal getting DGD dressed for school yesterday. She thought she had to wear a certain shade of green. DD said she finally had to give her an ultimatum but I'm not sure what that was. She wore a shirt with a huge green elephant (my favorite animal) and not knowing what happened at home I said "awe my favorite animal but elephants aren't green". That didn't go over so good....lol. I hurried up and said "he must be dressed up for St. Patrick's day" and then I got a giggle. She will probably refuse to wear it again since St. Patrick's day is over.
Sounds Good Linda!
