How long did it take you to get to Goal?

Seems like this board has a lot of vets, as a newbie I've been enjoying learning from you all. It's a Dreary day here and reading around the boards made me curious as a lightweight and with varying surgeries, how long did it take for you to get to goal? How much did you lose?

I'm one who had some complications and so my immediate weight loss was pretty drastic.  My lowest weight was 103 lbs and happened in about a year's time.  I had lost 105 lbs from my surgery weight.  Now I'm up at 114 lbs and my goal weight had been 120 lbs.  I don't think I'm done losing just yet though... and I'm 2 years post-op.

I started around 220 and lowest was 111 after a little over a year.  Goal, well, I had so many I finally just looked to see how low I could go.  111 was too low but bounce back took care of that.  I was 128 this morning, 3+years out from RNY.  I'd like to be back around 122-25.

It took me 11 months to get down to the lowest. I think I hit normal BMI somewhere between 5 and 6 months post-op, so the last 20 pounds took about 5 months too.  Started at 195 and my lowest was 115. I'm about 5'1" tall.

My first goal, a normal BMI took 6 1/2 months.  My second goal, 120, took about 10 1/2 months.  I kept losing for a few months after that, getting under 100 for a short time, bounced up to about 105 for a few years and then in the last 6 months I've had another bounce back to about 110.  I would like to stabilize around 120-130.

I like how you've added total monthly weight loss in your signature.

I'm almost 5 year out now.  My highest was 248.5 and my current is 132-133.  My lowest was around 126 and I would like to get back to that(working on it).  It took me almost 1 1/2 years to get to my lowest weight.

Good luck!!

not quite to goal yet, but 9 months yesterday and 4 pounds away.

I had wanted to get to goal by 9 months. Sometimes life happens while you are busy making other plans...

But, I will say that I have learned more about myself than I ever expected AND have exceeded a number of other goals:

rocking the size 10's, fitting into the occasional size 8, blood work totally normal, and I feel great.

I am thinking that I can get there by my 1 year surgiversary; 100 lbs = goal so it'll be doubly meaningful.
