Menus and Miles Tues. March 11th
I loved being a stay at home mom too. I went back to work after #1 and didn't know I was already pregnant with #2 so since DH had a good job we decided it was best for our family if I stayed home. Day Cares weren't plentiful or accepted like they are now. My only regret is that I worked for the school district as a library clerk and I could be retired with a full pension now. I didn't return to wor****il DH lost his job of 17 years and was having trouble finding something else. 5 years ago I lost my job of 18 years, got my WLS, watched new grandbabies and felt like I was GOING TO GO CRAZY being at home and then I found this job and I love it practically every single day.

What a sweet story. I'm happy for you that you found something that you enjoy. I am flirting with the idea of going back to work again now that my boys are older so I'm not left with empty nest syndrome in 8 years and crazy from being home. Giving myself this time after surgery has been a real gift. Who knows what will come next?
I'm not sure before WLS if I would have had enough confidence to find a good job that I would love. I think that's why I stayed at my last job for 18 years.

Stress does set off the cramps for some strange reason. Starting tomorrow I am going to measure everything so I can post it. To be honest with you I have always wondered how big your portions are. I can see now how who you can handle the sour greek yogurt....4 packets of Splenda....lol.

We are supposed to get a big storm tomorrow. Unfortunately my appt with surgeon and nut is tomorrow afternoon in Cleveland. I am trying to decide whether to reschedule. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive on bare roads. UGH.

Hi Roz,
I hate when things go wrong on a check run... It is so hard to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Hope the rest of your day went good. We just got a huge cut from one of our funding agencies and are going to have to close some and let some part time people go. It is so sad.
Traveling tomorrow, already got all my food together for tomorrow!! I'm really trying to do much better. I actually feel so much better when I stay on track and do a little exercise.

The Director figured it out and the rest of the day went smooth. I'm having computer issues today too (Wed.). It shut down right in the middle of my post for no reason at all. That's sad when they have to leave people go. Our budget is safe for another year.
Life is so much better when I feel organized. There is less chance of me making a bad choice.
I'm allowed ham so I think I'll make some ham/cheese pizza chips Sounds Yummy!!
