Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!

Almost 2:00pm and I'm just starting lunch.....I'm starving!!   Computer problems at work.  I just printed over 100 checks and the computer didn't recognize any of them as being printed...what a bookkeeping mess!! Took the Director over an hour to figure out what to do to fix the problem.
 

My Menu is not your typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I am not allowed to have them because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome).  Success means:  Protein first then add other foods!!!!

Breakfast:  Matrix Mint Cookie and Cottage Cheese Shake 
Lunch:         2 Meatballs  

Snack:          
Snack:         Popcorn

Dinner:        Roast  

Calories     Protein      Net Carbs      Fat    Sugar

Oh dear - at least all that makes the day go faster! 

Doh!!  Office treats happened to me and I know I won't even get diarrhea as a result!!   And I was silly enough to have them in the morning, so I was bloated all day... thankfully that's now OK.  Well tomorrow's a new day at least!!

The day did go really fast!!  I can't believe how my bloating has improved since I've had to really watch what I eat and my bowels have gotten so much better.

Almost Good....lol!

Been enjoying the warm sun outside today with the younger dog, Dale.  Dale's a hound and loves being outside.  Then again, I love being outside too.  We're expecting rain and a cool down tomorrow though.

Had a visit from my mom today.  I love it when he stops by because she's always got something to give to me and the family.  Today she brought two racks of ribs for me to cook.  They were supposed to have been for my son's birthday but she forgot to give it to him.  That's okay because he'll get his ribs tonight.

MENU:

B – Breakfast sandwich (8.8 g)

     Coffee Protein w/ skim milk (26 g)

S – Coffee Protein w/ skim milk (26 g)

     Greek yogurt (12 g)

L – Italian Wedding soup and chicken tender (10 g)

I might be an outdoor person if I lived in FL although I'm not sure I could handle the heat every day.

I wish my Mom could stop in and visit.  She is 81 and has dementia.  I'm just feel fortunate she still remembers who I am.   I love Wedding Soup but I'm not allowed anything with chicken broth in it.....

Summers are rough here.

I'm very grateful for my mom still being able to get around on her own.  She had back surgery twice before she was back to her old self though.

Yep, 2:15 and I am just getting lunch.  I got a hair cut this morning then clipped Teke and drove him.  It is beautiful here but suppose to get cold again (at least once, probably many more times)

I didn't even eat my eggbeaters today.  I would have had to eat to many things too close together.  I'm assuming they should still be good for tomorrow.  We are suppose to be getting cold again tomorrow and then more snow...ugh.

Just reading about the check printing problem gives me shivers!  So glad I don't work as a book keeper anymore :)   Glorious, sunny weather again today. This has been the mildest, warmest winter I've spent in Belgium since we moved here in 2002.

Jealous of your Weather!!!   I love bookkeeping! I was a bookkeeper/Secretary for over 20 years before I got this job.  With the job I have now though I write the checks or cause problems and then the Bookkeeper has to figure it out...LOL.
