Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!

Happy Sunday!!   Do you turn the clocks back/forward where you live?  We turned ours forward an hour todaySo for the next few days I will be out of wack and I will keep comparing the times.  Right now it is 8:07am but I'm thinking...well it would be 7:07.  I think all of my clocks changed but my internet.  My computer clock and cable box still say the old time   plus of course the few clocks that DH didn't change last night. It is nice to wake up to sunlight though.  It makes it alot easier to crawl out of bed on these cold mornings.

I am not a milkshake fan but I had 1 packet of the Jay Robb unflavored protein left so last night I used the blueberry cheescake cottage cheese recipe that I got off of the site I posted last week and it was yummy.  No cramping from it at all!!

I'm going to make that loooong walk to the backroom and start tanning this morning before church.  It's hard to believe next month is April and we will be heading to sunny FL!  I'm ready to pack my bags already!  I'm so tired of this cold weather and waking up to snow instead of green grass!

My Menu is not your typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I am not allowed to have them because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome). Success means:  Protein first then add other foods!!!!

Breakfast:     1 Egg, Eggbeater Whites and Cheese
Lunch:           Grilled Shrimp and 1/4 of DH's potato skin

Snack:
Snack:            Popcorn

Dinner:

Calories     Protein      Net Carbs      Fat    Sugar

I made black bean burgers once, I have never made them again. I love black beans just how they are, the burger changed the texture of them a bit and I had a hard time with that texture.

Roz, tastes like a veggie burger, the brand I bought has 210 cal, 7g fat, 17 G protein

not fabulous but trying out some different options while I'm still somewhat limited by the prescribed diet

Yep, I'm looking forward to the UK clocks changing at the end of this month, which we do on the last Sunday of March.  It will indeed make getting out of bed that bit easier in the mornings!!

I'm a little low on protein today, as I'm due a grocery delivery tomorrow and am running low on provisions.  I may polish off the last of the pistachios later on.

Today was a lovely spring day and I sat outdoors in the sunshine at Starbucks this afternoon!!

B1 Protein shake (30)
S Yogurt (5)
L Chicken breast (35)
S Fruit salad
D Bunless cheese burger (35)

Protein total (105)
F 72+
V All in (inc 7 calcium batches) nightime iron, vit C & copper & strontium batches pending
