revision?
The last time we talked I thought you were right on track! I don't believe in "dieting" that weight comes back on because you can't live like that forever. Did you give up on eating the "natural foods" that I couldn't pronounce or even know what they were?
I'm not sure about the revision. If I'm remembering right you have already had 2 surgeries. I guess that's something you and your surgeon will have to decide on.

Well, when you find a surgery that lets you eat whatever you want, whenever you when, in whatever amounts you want and not gain weight let me know. I'll be first in line. If you want your body to be a healthy size then you may have to make some sacrifices. True story. WLS, despite the rumors, isn't a get out of jail free card. It is a tool (I know, I hate that word, too) that helps us stick with a healthy way of eating. Like other tools it doesn't nothing just sitting there in the tool box. You actually have to take it out and use it to eat the way you should so you can look and feel the way you want to. There is no softer, easier way. Believe me, I looked.
Now if you think you have the wrong tool for the job, or if your tool is broken, that is a question for a surgeon. As someone who had a revision I wouldn't try to talk anyone out of one, I would just encourage them to know what they want and need and make sure they aren't looking for a magic cure, because there ain't one. It all takes a degree of work and effort to get what we want. And putting down the donuts is usually part of that work. And by donuts I mean whatever foods you are eating that don't help you get to where you want to be.

High Weight (2002) 240 Revision Weight (2010) 220 Current Weight 115.
Is there something to "fix"? If not, what would you revise to? You would have a very hard time eating like a DS needs to.
Maybe there is a hand full of us that don't have some regain but I don't remember many. So if you don't like it you need to consider where your body wants to be, which may not be where you want to be, how to eat to stay there in a manner you can live with, what you can and are willing to do exercise wise. Hopefully you can come to peace with maintainance. Most of us are still working on it.
