Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!

I think the snow missed us entirely!!  I guess it went south....sorry WV Lightweights!  DD's just boarded their plane.  I can't wait to see them.  It's always a long weekend when they are away.

My Menu is not your typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I am not allowed to have them because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome). Success means:  Protein first then add other foods!!!!

Breakfast:       A cup of Herbal Tea
Lunch:
Egg, Eggbeater Whites and ham
Snack:             Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar (Gluten free)
Snack:
PB and carrots
Dinner:            Finally had the stuffed pork chop
Snack:             Popcorn

Calories     Protein      Net Carbs      Fat    Sugar

Hi Roz - we got about 4" on Friday night - but that was it - except for the bitterly cold temps.

I know VA is getting hit with it - I'm in MI - yea!  This is twice now I've missed a "major" storm there... works for me!

Back on track today (I hope).  I've had a very grouchy pouch and it is very picky about what it does/doesn't eat.  I have wanted to get back on PPI's but I have to go to the Dr to get them.  What a PITA.  You'd think if I called my bariatric surgeons office and asked for a script, they would understand and give it to me.  I also need to decarb...  I did get some more protein so I'm going to have a protein drink in a bit.

B - 2 - coffee w/unsweetened almond milk/splenda

S - double chocolate protein drink in unsweetened almond milk with a splash of peppermint paddy SF syrup

L - ?

D - not sure.  I have pork chops I may cook.

Vits:  some of them...

Water:  need to get working on it.

That protein drink sounds really chocolatey!  I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the Vanilla that I bought.  I'm waiting for my bladder to calm down before I try another one.

I finally made the stuffed pork chops I posted for several days in a row. I need to prepare things better the night before.

Hope you had some good protein for lunch and dinner.

I ended up with nothing for lunch.  I had some chicken wings in the toaster oven then my daughter calls and says she's on her way to the chiropractor, so I shut them off and met her there.  We did end up with the pork chops, which turned out very good and tender.

That Apple Bread sure sounds good!  I might try making something with my Carb Quik on the weekend.  The Cinnamon muffins make me hurt but I don't know if it's the Carb Quik or the other ingredients.

Sounds good Linda....I love the variety!

Yep, we're getting hit again. I don't know the official accumulation and it's still coming down.  Our plan is to travel in the morning hoping they've had a chance to clear the main roads.
