Menus and Miles Saturday March 1st
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!
Happy Saturday Dance..... It is so bright and sunny here it is blinding! I just saw DH driving past the patio door on his golf cart....LOL It's hard to believe a huge snow storm is only a day away! We have to go and buy a tractor battery today so he can plow us out for work on Monday. Have to hurry...DGS's Basketball game is at 10:00...catch you all later!!! My Menu is not your typical WLS Menu: I am a strict believer in Protein drinks but at the present time I am not allowed to have them because I have been diagnosed with IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome). Success means: Protein first then add other foods!!!!
Breakfast: Banana
Lunch: Hoping for soup

It's been a pretty day here and warm although there has been a wind. I drove Teke and rode Poppy. DS's birthday is Thursday but he is home for the weekend so we are going out tonight. Spent the day shopping with youngest daughter. She joined a sorority at college and we had to find a white dress and white shoes for a ceremony this week. Not too easy to find this time of year I must say. Good news is walking around really made my back feel better. And I found a really cute dress coat for next winter at Penneys for 20 dollars! Size 8!!! I have waited so long to be able to buy cute clothes, it is FABULOUS!

Welcome to M&M!!! I was just going over some old posts and I spotted yours. My DH had a heart attack so I fell behind on some of the posts made at the beginning of the month.
I rarely eat Protein bars because they make me crave sweets. My Urologist does allow me to have Nature Valley Almond Crunch bar that is Gluten Free. It's all Nuts and it really does help my appetite without making me want more.
I'm worried about your low Calories and Protein. Have you lost much hair? How about your strength?

By the end of every day, my caloric intake is around 900. I didn't ever have a huge hair loss problem, and now I am back to normal. I actually haven't felt this good in years. My NUT does want to me increase my calories, and sometimes I do get to 1000, but I am still trying to lose during this honeymoon period.
