Upcoming Surgi-versary and personal reflection
Hi again, Roz.
I'm only 5 feet tall. I was 224 at my highest weight and 208 the day of my surgery. When I had dropped to 106, the entire family got scared especially my folks. My mom is a retired nurse and my dad is a former Air Force OR Tech (and a complete health nut). I've managed to bring my weight up to 119 and am trying to not be a slave to the scale again. I do watch my salt intake and my protein but since my GI specialist told me to eat normally (as in eat foods without worry about gluten) that's when I put on the weight to where I'm at now. Because gluten is making me feel bloated and uncomfortable, I think I may go back to not eating it or possibly limiting my intake.
Happy surgiversary! We can all learn a lot from you. : )
