What Trigger foods have you eliminated from your diet/

I haven't stopped lately but peanuts are something I really have to watch, pistachios are a close second. While these are good for us malabsorbers we can easily over do it.

Popcorn doesn't effect me that way and it also helps me go to the bathroom but I can't have chips or anything sweet tasting (even diet) within sight. Even one piece or taste leads me to failure.

I haven't tried popcorn yet but I think that's probably a good thing! I am with you on the nuts though. I find myself unable to stop at a few and then find I've eaten more than I needed too. I promised myself that I won't buy anymore once I've gone through what's on hand.
I am still trying to learn balance. I swore I didn't want to "diet" ever again and didn't want to eliminate stuff as NEVER EAT. Chocolate is probably my biggest weakness. If it is in the house, I will eat it. Not tons, but a piece after a meal. Those darn peanutbutter no flour cookies I will eat straight out of the freezer until they are gone. I try to do nuts only in single serving sizes so I can have portion control. Sweets draw me to them but usually, unless it is very very good, I can have a taste and be done with it. Chips will call my name if they are open.
I seriously limit alcohol, both for the calories and the fact that it weakes my defenses with all other foods and amounts of food.

I cannot have protein bars. They are a trigger to me -and any kind of simple carb snack - oh and nuts. Yes, nuts. It seems I'm compulsive when it comes to things that are triggers and once I start on them, I eat them until they're gone. As long as they're NOT in the house, I'm good.
Almonds is my new trigger... it was cashews before. Funny though, cashews isn't friendly to my pouch, but I'd eat them anyway.
I like popcorn, but it's not a trigger. I can eat it on occasion and not obsess about it.

Because it used to be such an addiction for me, I have not even tried to eat pasta since a few months before surgery. I am afraid that it will become a huge trigger if I try, so I am not going there (yes, I am part Italian). When I get the urge for something Italian, my go to is usually Eggface's baked ricotta dish with grass fed ground beef or bison added.
