Good Friday Everyone, I know many of you are SO very grateful that friday has finally arrived. I guess I'm glad it's friday too although to me it's really just another day. We ALL have so very many things to be grateful for. I've been thinking alot about how my life has changed in so many many ways since my WLS over 8 yrs. ago. I think it has truly changed the most by my activity levels. I was a total couch potato before my WLS. I am not as active as I once was....but I am still 100% more active that I was pre opWLS. I am grateful for being able to fit into any restroom stall anywhere now instead of going into the handicapped stall.....grateful I can cross my legs with ease now and bend over and pick things off the floor and get up and down off the floor without crawling to grab hold of something to pull myself up. Grateful I'm in regular size clothes, can fit into a booth at a restaurant, polish my own toe nails and do so many many more things. Life is definately great after WLS and I am SO very grateful for all the things that I can now do and for all the blessings that God has allowed me to experience now. Grateful for family and friends as well that has supported me in this lifelong journey. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a blessed weekend. Hugs and blessings ~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

I am grateful for the lightweight, thanks for all the support. I am also grateful to be one week out from VSG and be down 10#. I feel great and so thankful that I made this decision.

I am so grateful for you and your posts Vivian!! I am grateful for my wls also have had a few ups and downs this week (think my gallblader(sp) is acting up for some reason) but I am so grateful that God and this surgery have given me the strength to get up at 4:30 am and hit the gym without begrudging it!  My husband George is such a blessing to me all these 39 years later!! He is my rock and I am so very grateful for everything that he does with and for me.  Hope your day is full of many blessings!
