Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

So glad to be back to work!!!!  I'm having a short day because DH has an appt. with his heart Dr. today and I don't want to miss it because he doesn't tell me everything.  DD's came home and got their little ones so things are a lot calmer at our house.  I just called to check on DH and he said he picked up  the toys, swept the floors, and did a few dishes (I really think DH retiring would be best for both of us....lol).  It will be nice to go home and that's all done.

Breakfast:       1/2 Cup Oatmeal
Lunch:             Tuna salad and 5 Saltines
Snack:             Deli Meat and Cheese roll-up

Dinner:            Maybe Boneless Pork chops (didn't have it yet)
Snack:             Popcorn
Protein:           Trying another Protein Drink

Wish my DH would do some of that!!! Acutally, he does the kitchen but not as often as I would like.  Glad your DH is feeling better.  Part of all of my tension at work included firing the lady who also cleaned for me.  Haven't looked for anyone new yet, just trying to keep it up a little at a time.  I hate cleaning.

It's warmer here and sunny but the wind is biting.  I am going to drive Teke this afternoon then have a meeting.  Walked with Thor this morning.

decaf protein coffee  33g
eggbeaters, cheese, kale, salsa
lemon tea protein  13g
chili, cheese, greek yogurt
lemon tea protein
pork roast, brocalli
protein shake 33g

I fired her because she was doing wrong stuff at work, her cleaning was fine.  But when she left working for me and my business, she stopped cleaning too.  There will be someone else out there or I will have to step up to the plate.  Right now, no one else could come in anyway, the house is in such disaray from the kitchen project.

A stay at home house hubby - I like the idea of that!!   I personally don't like to dust until you can see that you need to dust - I so wouldn't do well in more dusty countries, I think more rain = less dust, so that's the silver line the UK has!!

Getting a better protein total - I struggled to get over 100g in Tunisia last week, but it didn't help me leaving my protein powder behind... I took my shaker with me, but no powder - duh!!

B Decaff protein coffee (30)
S Cheese (20)
L Macaroni cheese (35)
S Yogurt (10)
S Cashews (10)
D Chicken Kiev (30)

Protein total (135)
F 72+
V All in (inc 7 calcium batches) nightime iron, vit C & copper & strontium batches pending

Leaving my powder at home would have been a breaking point me....haha.  Since I've cut back I really miss not holding my cup.  It gives my hands to much leeway to pick up something unhealthy.

The house hubby thing only lasted a day.....lol

Sounds Good!

A stay at home hubby... hmmm... I wonder how long I'd last with that?  He'd probably drive me nuts everyday when I got home - lol

I fell off the wagon last night and had popcorn and a couple of glasses of wine.  Back on today - BUT, I was down .6 of a lb!  I'm only 3 pounds away from my first goal - YEA!

I have been having a protein drink (double one usually) every day... I really do think that may be helping.  I just drank one because I was feeling hungry, and it definitely filled me up.  I'm sure the 200 calories for the drink is a lot less than what I would have ingested snacking... I also think it's all the water I'm drinking lately too.

B - coffee (I've also found that I've lost my last 3 lbs since I haven't been making a big breakfast.  I had been making bacon/eggs..)

L- leftover ribeye steak from last night

S - double chocolate protein drink with unsweetened almond milk and a splash of peppermint paddy SF syrup

D - baked pork chops

Vits:  not yet, but will

Water:  doing good with it.

Your scales moving in the right directions is Awesome!!!!   I've found that eating breakfast sets me off for wanting to eat all day long.  I'm much better off holding off eating as long as I can.  That's where my protein drinks really helped me.

Is there any caffeine in the Peppermint Paddy?  I totally forgot how much I liked that once I bought my Mint Cookie Protein.

Sounds Good Jody!

Glad the chaos is winding down at your house, but I have to say that when my husband was home on sick leave for 9 months i thought I would go OUT OF MY MIND!  Just saying, be careful what you wish for!

B: Coffee then protein yogurt = 38g

S:  Lemon ice tes protein = 23g

L:  Very late - 3 slices of deli chicken and 2 slices of lite swiss = 25g

D:  Homemade beef and cabbage soup w/ a bit of goat cheese for dessert = 5g

S:  Walnuts = 5g

S:  Maybe a hot chocolate protein not sure yet

All my bits and water so so - 2 Doctor appointments so feeling a bit ragged.  Walked 3 miles but that's it.

haha...I completely understand!  It doesn't take much for DH to drive me crazy.  He only a has a couple more weeks off.  Our DD's are keeping him busy watching kids while they run errands so I think he is deciding retirement isn't for him.

I love corn beef and cabbage soup.  I'll have to check my list and see if I'm allowed to have that.

Sounds Good!
