Four Years Out!
Nana, it took me well over a year to get to 149. It was months of anguish because it was so slow. It's a very dedicated process, but the reward of not getting discouraged and not quitting is so worth it. You'll have so much more fun on the floor with the kids!!! :)

Congratulations! I needed to read this, I am struggling making the right choices and my weight is going up. :( I read it twice and in between the lines. I was starting to feel vsg isn't going to work any more for me, I should have had ds. But really it's not the surgery, it's me. Congrats on your victory, and making me think twice that I can do this. I am like you, I can't have sugar or carbs but I can't seem to quit them. :(
Ubie, it's all about us and our choices. Bravo for facing that. I think that our success comes more easily when we acknowledge that because it empowers us. Hang in there with your Sleevie. You've had incredible success. You can stop the upward crawl today.
