Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

Happy Valentines Day to All of my LW's......!!!!! .   Any special plans for this special day?  DD#3 took DH a couple days ago when he was itching to get out of the house. I got a dozen yellow roses and a Bear statue.  I'm hoping I can exchange the bear for the one I have been eyeing up without disappointing him or maybe I will just keep it and buy the one I want in a few months.

DD's and family arrived in Atlanta safely.  Their flight was only delayed about 6 minutes.  DH and I are a little disapointed about not getting to go but DH will be able to recover quicker without all the extra walking and commotion.  I took off yesterday because DH's eyes were blurry from the new meds he got and I was already scheduled off for vacation time so I'm off until Tuesday.

Well, I'm trying a Jay Robb Egg White Vanilla Shake this morning.  I should know soon if my bladder is going to cramp.  The Vanilla taste is good but I am very disappointed that it doesn't mix well like my beloved Lemon Tea. I put extra ice in my shaker cup and it is still clumpy.   And for those of you who don't like foam well the more I shake it trying to get the lumps out the more foam there is.  The Lemon Tea foam always disappears after a while but since I have to keep shaking this there is constant foam. I'm thinking you would have to use a blender to get it to mix completely.

Protein:           1 Egg White Vanilla Shake 25g...yes there is cramping but not bad

eggbeaters, kale, salsa, cheese
lemon tea protein 13g
brocalli/chicken soup
lemon tea protein  13g
peanuts
chicken parm, zuccinni
no bake cheesecake, NS, NS cherry topping

going to make some kind of cheesecakey thing for desert for my Valentine's desert.  it turned out ok but not really really special.  It was 8 oz cream cheese, 1 pk cheesecake pudding, 2 cups milk, 1 tub coolwhip light, beat cream cheese, and milk and pudding mix, beat til smooth, add whipped topping blend, pour into graham cracker crust, refrigerate for a couple of hours.  Top.

Happy Valentines Day!  Hope your DH stays the course and gets better with each day.  And very glad your DD arrived safely.  The weather images we see over here from the States are very impressive I must say.  My husbands family are farmers and they are dealing with torrential rain and flooding.  Must say i am glad to be in boring grey Belgium this week!

I had flowers and candy waiting on my desk when I got to work this morning. They apparently started delivering Wednesday when I was at HQ to beat the snow day Thursday. Smart business!  We're taking the kids and grandbabies out to dinner tomorrow afternoon, and then the babies are spending the night.

Good luck with the JayRobb! Maybe try mixing it once and then just let it sit for about 10 minutes. Edited: I just saw that you're trying the egg white. I don't know how that one works.

Hi Roz,

Glad DH is doing better.  My sister said everything around them melted very quickly yesterday morning when the sun came out.  I am finally home.  It was a great training and I'm pretty sure I passed the test, but I am glad to be home.  My parents are here for DGD#1's 5th birthday party tomorrow.  I can't believe it has been 5 years!  DH had supper cooked for us all when I got home.

Happy Valentines Day!  Glad DH is doing better - and better safe than sorry.

I'm heading back to VA on Sunday and hoping the roads are cleared.  I texted with the landlord there today and she said they had 15" of snow - AND they don't plow their drive which is VERY long... I hope by Sun night enough has melted so I don't get stuck...

I've been drinking my protein drinks again - yea me!   LOL.  I had some mashed cauliflower for dinner tonight and OH MY... the gas is forming... I have stayed away from gassy veggies for the most part.  Just onions/mushrooms.

I was down another 1/2 lb today - I'll take it.  I'm not optimistic it will stay off for tomorrow though... but, I made up some flavored water in mason jars yesterday.  I cut up lemon, lime and cucumber and it soaked overnight and WOW was it good!  It took NOTHING for me to get my water in today! Went down very easy and you could taste the cucumber... interesting and refreshing taste.

B - coffee

L - leftover cheeseburger casserole

S - double fuzzy navel protein drink

D - steak w/mashed cauliflower and green beans

Vits:  yes

water:  did pretty good

I'm sorry I should have explained better!  It is Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea Whey Protein.   I put 1 scoop in my shaker cup with 8 oz. of water and then fill with crushed ice.
