Menus and Miles for Roz - Thurs Feb 13th
I'm going to go ahead and get this started. Roz may be without power if she wa**** by the storm.
I'm still doing the uber-low-carb. My weight has fluctuated 2 lbs for 3 weeks... I sure hope something gives soon! I've changed things up a little and incorporated some protein drinks back into my diet. I know during the active weight loss phase for me, it really helped.
I want to get 5 more pounds off. Doesn't seem like much, but it has been a VERY stubborn 5 lbs...
B - coffee w/splenda and unsweetened almond milk
S - SF pickle
L - double scoop Fuzzy Navel protein drink with my Citrucel mixed in.
L2 - leftover chicken thigh
D - not sure. I'd like it to be another protein drink but my sister likes to sit down and eat. It is her late night for work though and at times she eats before she comes home. We'll see. Otherwise there's leftovers.

Thanks Jody!!! DH wasn't feeling good today and his eyes were really blurry from all of the new meds so I called off of work so I could take him to his follow-up appt. with his PCP. DD's plane just took off for Atlanta and we have the Grandsons so my day has been busy. Oh..and I went for another injection in my bladder. I lucked out and they had an opening this afternoon so now I don't have to go in the evening or take more time off. I think maybe tomorrow I should be able to try one of the Protein samples I bought.

Hi Jody,
I'm trying to lay off the carbs this week while I'm away from home and get them out of my system. I need to get rid of 6-8 pounds I have found this year. I have really done good not being at home with all the junk available that DH brings into the house.
Last day of class was today, review is tomorrow morning and our test is after lunch. It has been a great class, sure hope I pass the test tomorrow afternoon.. I'll be glad to be home tomorrow. We have not even got to go to River Street and shop because the weather has been so bad and cold.

I just restarted drinking protein drinks also I actually dropped a bit, we'll see if it stays! I drink a protein drink before bed, but mostly to detox from the crack popcorn that had come to control my life

S i confess I ate 3 tiny sugar cookies (140 calories)
S greek yogurt, cranberries, walnuts and bran buds
D probably tuna salad, possibly some ww crackers and carrots or celery
S syntrax nectar capuccino
miles- no my legs were too sore, vites yes, fluids-working on it

we ended up with about 8" but at least it was snow not ice and we still have power. My exercise this morning was shoveling the path from the house to the barn.
