Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

Ok...having the Jay Robb Whey Vanilla shake this morning.  It blended really good in my shaker cup with a lot less foam.   Running to Walmart to buy a George Foreman Grill.  I need to cut back on frying our meats. Hopefully DH will eat it without a fight.  He is being a very stubborn patient!!!   Spending the rest of the day waiting for cheer updates on FB and following cheerupdates on twitter.  You probably think this is going to be a boring day for me but after having 3 grandkids yesterday with little help from DH I'm going to enjoy the boredom!

Edit:   Just remembered the DGS has a basketball at 1 and DH isn't allowed to drive yet.

I hope the JayRobb whey isolate works well for your system.

Gail may post over here asking how you guys that like lemonade and lemon tea protein shakes make them. I'm strictly creamy, so I didn't know what to tell her.  Thanks.

My stove has a grill and 2 eyes.  I probably wouldn't have bought one that way but it was in the house when we bought it.  Right now, the grease drain is broken and the stove is so old you can't order the part.  I hope I can get one made once the kitchen is done, can't handle any more with the kitchen right now!!! I love having it but hate only having 2 eyes to cook on.  When the grill works, I use it almost every night.  And I really don't want to have to buy a new stove.

while I'm not opposed to fat, I rarely fry anything.  My toaster oven is one of my best friends for baking.  I hope he will come around and realize what's best for him and you.

I was DOWN  a pound today, totally expecting to be UP today.  YEA!  Ok - you and Gina can gloat and say it's because I'm drinking my protein drinks again - lol.  I'm also ingesting some very good flavored water with lemon, lime and cucumber and makes it SO easy to get down.  I've got my glass gone before I realize it.  3.5 lbs to my first goal, and I won't stop once I hit that!  Wouldn't it be great to see 130 or 129 again by my 55th birthday?  I'd be ecstatic and look even better in my bikini for my Bahamas getaway! (April)

Went out for lunch, which I didn't really want to do.  I got a huge salad.  Veggies are carbs, and while good carbs,  not really in line with my low-carb eating... but I'll deal with it.  After I got home tonight after seeing my grandkids before going back to VA tomorrow, my sister said "I was going to tell you to go get a pizza".  Ha!  I immediately said "huh?  that's not on our diets"  she said "yep, I figured you'd say that".  LOL  She tried to convince me the thin crust was ok... Once I leave and stop the cooking I'm sure she'll go back to her old ways...

B - coffee

S - double fuzzy nectar protein drink with citracel for fiber

L - about 1/3 of a salad

D - the other 2/3 of the salad (ugh - SO full)

Vits:  yes

water:  did good
