Good Morning LW's.....IT'S FRIDAY AND THE WEEKENDS COMING.....YEAH!!!!!! Wow...yesterday was not a good day for us but such a relief! Thanks for all of the Prayers and concerns....they are VERY Appreciated! My DH hasn't felt well for a really long time. Being tired, chest pain, shoulder pain and nothing showing up in any of the tests the PCP did (taking tons of anti-acids) so yesterday was a big relief for us. 2 Blockages. One at 95% and one at 99%. They put a stint in the 95 but the 99 was too small. There is also a small leak around the Large Aorta that he had repaired in 2005 but the Dr. feels it will be ok and not cause him any problems but they are doing an ultra sound today and going to keep an eye on it. We are hoping he gets out this afternoon but I'm packing my own food just in case. All I ate yesterday was ham/cheese sandwich and a piece of PB bread. We are probably going to cancel out of our trip to GA next weekend. I'm so glad I booked with Southwest because they don't charge change fees.Breakfast: 1 Egg and 1/4 cup Eggbeater Whites
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar
Lunch: Tuna Fish and 5 Saltines Snack: Carrots and PB
Dinner:

I guess that sounds good, not that they found all that but that they found it before there was permanant damage. What will the do about the 99 one? Replace? I have several friends who have had heart attacks in the last few months. I guess we are getting to the age but darn, this isn't fun and it sure is scarey. At least everyone has survived so far with little to no damage. I guess we are all getting better about listening to our bodies and paying attention. So glad he is ok!!!!

They can't do anything about the small one but it has already started to form arteries from it all by itself. They said it will probably stop hurting once it is completely blocked. It's not in a position that will cause any heart damage.

Very relieved that your DH is getting the proper treatment and that he will be home soon. Sounds very scary indeed! It's too bad about your trip to Atlanta as i know you were really looking forward to it, but it's best for him to catch up on rest... Hang in there with the food choices at the cafeteria - I am sure it's a challenge.
B: Coffee then protein yogurt = 38g
L: Sushi and sashimi tuna = 25g
S: Protein ice tea shake = 23g
D: Protein yogurt = 30g
S: Hot choclate protein shake = 23g
All my vits and water good - walked 3km
We still aren't sure about Atlanta. I guess I am hoping he will bounce back after he gets some rest. I know I am being selfish! I survived missing it last year because DD just had her baby so I guess I can miss it again this year..... We have to cancel at least 2 hours before the flight.
Sounds Good!

At least he'll be home in time for the weekend.
There was a lot of rain last night and quite a few roads were cut off. It wasn't too bad at the time of day I travel in coz I leave the house at VERY early, but the late people really got caught with many taking more than an hour than normal (on 30 minute commutes).
Anyways, I'll be leaving all this behind this weekend. I might not manage to post tomorrow as I head for the airport hotel, and we'll see how I do after that as I'll be traveling on Sunday!!
Yep, that was a mighty big hunk of cheese I had - I was clearing out the fridge!!

Yes, they did the stint through a cath. He was awake most of the time. He said it was pretty amazing.
I'm glad you are back on track! Sounds Good!!!

Hi Roz
I must have missed about your DH going in for his heart. Glad to hear all is well, but I'm also curious about the one that was blocked 99%... what action the will take on it.
I haven't had the best day today... seems like one thing after another going wrong. car, computer... ugh.
Eating... hmmm...
B - coffee
L - low carb pork chop (this was awesome). It had paprika, garlic powder and seasoning salt on both sides, then topped with a tblspn of butter, a tbspn of mayo and sharp cheddar shredded cheese. Was awesome. Be careful with the garlic powder tho - pretty powerful
S - stress eating - lol. 3 SF bread and butter pickle spears...
D - may make Chicken cordon bleu.
Vits: yes
water: working on it.
