Roz, Do you put anything on your popcorn?

I use a microwave popcorn popper.  I add a TBS. of canolla oil and 2 TBS. popcorn.  Usually I put a little salt on it.

Roz, not sure if you like coconut - but if you do - try coconut oil instead of canola... much better for you.. (and I love the smell)

I wish I could eat popcorn..

I've never tried but I will look into it.  Why can't you eat popcorn?

Hi Roz - nice and sunny here today too.  When I got up this morning it was -3 - I didn't know it was supposed to get that cold!  Brrrr - warmed up to 25 now... I need to check the weather for tonight/tomorrow.

Well, this sinus crap has morphed into something else.  My sister is sick too today and she seems to have it worse than me.  I just got up from a nap and feel a little better.

Face is a little better today too.  No idea what eats are today.  Yesterday didn't end so well since I went to my Daughters' and watched the superbowl.  There were pretzel sticks, pita chips and pizza (beer).  I ate the toppings from a piece of pizza and some pretzels and pita chips, and indulged in some beer.  Back on track today (easier because I'm not hungry).

B - coffee w/cream/splenda

S - a few pieces of leftover bacon

D - wings

Vits:  yes

Water: catching up

When you are on maintenance I think it's ok to enjoy a few extra bites at a party IF you can get back on track as soon as the party is over.  That's one of the biggest changes I see in myself.  When I was "dieting" before WLS the party never seemed to stop after the guests all left.  I think now that we eat so good 99% of the time that a little extra doesn't set us up fo disaster.

Sounds Good!

When you have protein yogurt, does that mean you add protein powder?

Yes - I add a scopp of protien powder and 1 tbls of ground flax seeds to my morning yogurt.  It is a plain, natural style yogurt (7g protein, 60cal) and then I have several types and flavors of protein powder (Syntrax vanilla bean torte, or complete proteins (not only whey isolate) that give me higher ratio protein and form a thicker, pudding style yogurt.  It fills me up so much that I rarely eat a morning snack.
