Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

 

My Protein powder from Jay Robb came yesterday.  I'm so excited to try it!!  I've been cramping last night and today because it's time for me to get another injection so it might not be until the weekend before I can try it. I want to be cramp free so I can tell for sure if my bladder can handle it or not.  I sooooo MISS my Protein Drinks!!!!!   I just called DH's Dr. to make him an appointment.  Apparently we are going to get hit hard with another snow and ice storm tonight and they might be closed until Friday.  Our grandkids have already lost 3 planned school closed days because of snow closed days.  They might have to end up extending the school year.   Breakfast:   Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar

Lunch:         Tuna and 5 saltines  
Snack:         Carrots and PB

Snack:         Popcorn
Dinner:        Hot Dog (no bun) and 1/2 cup Gluten and  MSG safe Baked Beans (probably yuck but I'm going to give them a try)

Snack:         Popcorn

Calories     Protein      Net Carbs      Fat    Sugar

I really hope one of the protein powders work for you Roz!  

B:  coffee then protein yogurt -30g

L:  2 slices chicken w/ guacamole and 2 slices of leermeder cheese - 23g

S:  protein yogurt - 30g

D:  3 sushi rolls and 3 pieces of sashimi w/ a bite of sea weed salad - 30g

Allmy vits and 2 litres of water - walked 3k

Ah come on Roz!  You don't like Japanese food???  I am on a first name basis with the Sushi place down my road.  It is literally 1 block a way and I am a regular though less now than when I was pre-op :)

I remember loving snow days as a kid, but they suck as an adult who has to commute come rain or shine LOL.  I think we've escaped snow this year in the UK - yippee!!   Plus I head for sunshine in Tunisia this weekend, so double yippee!!

OH is looking weird again today.  I can't keep track.

It has been grey and gloomy and cold here all day but at least it isn't raining or snowing.  I had a meeting then a funeral now trying to get some work done but obviously looking for distractions, lol.
