Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

That was crazy watching the reports on the Today Show this morning for Atlanta's surrounding area.  20 hours sitting in traffic and kids having to sleep at their school.  I can't even imagine!  Did you have anyone involved in this?  How about the baby who got delivered on the way to the hospital....I would be frantic but wow what a story they have to share.

Do any of you infusion fruit in water? How many calories do you think soaks into the water? How about the sugar?  I'm trying to figure out how to get more water in and plain water just isn't doing it.  My friends DD who has IC does this to get her water in but she doesn't have a weight problem.   I'm not allowed any of the flavorings that you just squirt in.

Breakfast:     Scrambled: 1 egg and 1/3 cup Eggbeater Whites
Lunch:             Orgnaic soup off of my list..it looks like colored water with a few vegetables in it...$3.00 a can!

Snack:          carrots and PB
Snack:             Laughing Cow Lite  Swiss Cheese wedge and 5 saltines
Snack:             Popcorn

Dinner:            Not sure but it better be Protein!

the south just shuts down when it snows.  My road is still snow covered but it is melting now that it is 37.  The drive that 5 houses are on is gravel and it is still snowy.  We had a school bus turn over in our country trying to get the kids home but none of the traffic snarles like Atlanta area.

I've never infused water.

Had a meeting at noon and another at 3, then either walking here or at the gym.  I missed muscle pump last night because of the snow and cold but need to do something today.  My weight keeps creeping up and I am sick of it.  I think I may have to follow Jody's cue and go carbless but I do love my salads and veggies and stay pretty darm low carb as it is.

decaf protein coffee  33g
ham, eggbeaters, cheese
lemon tea protein  13g
veggie burger, green beans
peanuts
steak, salad
protein shake  33g

I wouldn't think salads and veggies would make you gain weight.  I've been forced to cut out bread and sugar and my scales are moving downward. I'm allowed all of the vegetables that I want. I'm amazed how the swelling has gone out of body in places that I didn't even know were swelled like my hands and stomach.

I think your menu sounds great!

I'm not allowed any juice.  Too much acid in them. The fruit gives the water a nice mild taste. Since you can use the same fruit several days in a row I can't imagine that there is much for me to worry about.

Sounds Good!
