Menus and Miles Tuesday Jan. 28th

Hi Roz,

I'm back!!  My time sheet had 78 1/2 hours for last week.  I'm one tired person.  I got off early yesterday and we closed at 2 today and are off tomorrow due to the weather.  Even if we don't get much snow/sleet, no one around here has a clue how to drive in it because we so rarely get any.  I brought all my work home, now if I can keep my internet going.  I slept most of this afternoon.

Way too many carbs today.  The roast was delicious, I have not had one in so long.

I'm so glad you are back!!!   I missed you but I knew you were busy.  Poor Gina has had to listen to my whining.

WOW that's a lot of hours!!  Do you get paid by the hour or are you salary?  That's going to be one nice check if it's by the hour.

We are used to driving in snow but they called off school yesterday and so far we have a delay for tomorrow because of the temperatures.

I sure hope it clears up in Atlanta in the next 2 weeks because I am counting on warm weather and flowers!!!

No big check for me.  I'm salaried, but we do get to add any hours we are over for the entire month to our annual leave balances so we do get some rewards for the work times.  I have taken alot off with Beth in January so hopefully I will break even and not have too many extra hours.

Hope Atlanta is cleared up by the time y'all get here.  It sounds like a mess on TV.  My sister lives Northwest of Atlanta and she posted pictures on Facebook.  There road is still covered in snow/ice and doesn't look like anyone has tried to drive on it.

Hope your appointment went ok yesterday.

Time off sometimes is better than money!!!  I'm glad they work something out to compensate you.  They do that at our job too. 

I hope all of the flowers aren't dead in Atlanta!!!  I love seeing the petunias and green leaves around the convention center.

I got another injection yesterday and she said I was starting to heal so she started me on a medication that is suppose to coat your bladder.  I don't do well with meds so she has me taking it at night so I will have it in longer. 

School here was on a two hour delay yesterday, cancelled all day today and another two hour delay tomorrow due to low temps.   my youngest daughter and oldest daughter's universities were also cancelled today.  had the fun of going to the verzon store and changng our plans all around.  Very confusing and very expensive!

Our schools were closed yesterday and today (Wed.).  I think this is the 4th closed day they are going to have to make up.  One of the makeup days is when we are going to Atlanta so my DD already requested her DD be excused because we can't change the date.

I think our Verizon bill is crazy!  DH and I still have basic phones that don't have to get  internet on because it's just way to expensive.  I have an IPAD and we both have IPOD's so as long as their is wi-fi we can use them.  We have wi-fi at home so we are good there. More and more places are starting to get it.
