Hernia?
Yes they will do a repair if you need one. Get it checked out at the doctors if you think you have a hernia. I don't see how a hernia would change how your PPI works.

You need to go to your doctor and have it checked out. Hernia's DO cause pain....usually if you have a hernia when you have your WLS your surgeon will usually repair them. You might want to call and see if it was repaired at that time. It is possible to get another hernia though. I had hernia surgery 3 yrs. ago and I know I have another one that I need to think about getting taken care of....but it's causing no pain to me yet. Good luck to you.

my big hernias were repaired during my WLS. I had a small unbilical hernia repaired before my knee replacement. Get it checked out. Should not affect your acid reducer but who knows what is going on in there.
