Good idea. I think the cold filtration versus the ion exchange is the key. I would trust JayRobb to avoid the MSG too. Good luck!

I am not a fan of the milk shake type drinks -(well unless they come from an old fashion diner where there is actual ice-cream and soda in there then I might change my mind!) - but milk shake protein drinks are not for me.  I sympathize with your hard time there Roz - really.  I sent you a link on yesterdays post about a egg white powder protein supplement.  Don't know if you saw it or not, but I've high hopes that might work for you!  Since I am no longer recieving ANY message notifications via OH nor e-mail it is hard to know what is up.  GRRRRRR!!!

B:  Coffee then Protein yogurt = 38g

L:  Chicken with greek yogurt and swiss cheese = 28g

S:  5 Brazil nuts = 5g

S:  Hot chocolate protein = 23g

D:  Chili w/ parmesan crisps = 15g

All my vits and water - no miles

S - a SF pickle (1 carb)

L - baked chicken leg/thigh

S - hot and spicy pork rinds

D - breakfast for dinner - scrambled eggs w/mushrooms/ham and cheese - about 7 carbs with the mushrooms

S SF pickle - 1 carb

Water:  ok

Another off the chart junk day.  a meeting at noon and one for supper did me in.  I am so ready to be back on a decent eating schedule.  No more meetings or interuptions for a while and it actually is suppose to be 50 today for the first time in a week.  Then back to the deep freeze.

DH makes smoothies with greek yogurt.  I buy the store brand instead of a label brand to save $$.  He prefers to use vanilla but if plain, he added vanilla and sugar.  He uses frozen fruit or canned.  I think he sometimes adds some of my vanilla protein but not always.  Ice if he doesn't use frozen fruit.  I think that is about it.  He loves them.  About the only frozen, milk kind of shake I like is chocolate (with some SF syurp like coconut, salted carmel, ect) or the mint cookie.
