I left a message at her office about the Powdered Milk. I can't drink regular milk but it says it is lactaid free. Her secretary said the Dr. would check it out over the weekend and for me to call Monday. I will probably just wait for my Appt. on Tuesday. I almost bought some last night but decided to wait for her answer.
I have to get 12 hours of training a year but it's always on something that has nothing to do with my job. Such a waste of time.
I haven't tried cheese on my eggbeaters yet. Do you use American? I know I'm allowed to have that kind.
I did thaw out a carbquik banana muffin a couple of nights ago and it tasted sooooo good but it cramped me so I won't be having another one any time soon.
Sounded good until the junk part.....LOL. You ended the day strong though!!!!

Hope you're doing better - I need to check out that link Gina posted for the fage protein drink...
My eating was not much today. I had to watch the girls today and my fluid has been almost non-existent. I need to get a little more in before bed.
B - coffee and 4 pieces of bacon
L - 1 1/2 nuked chicken thighs
D - breaded pork chop. I found a recipe for a low-carb breading and OMG was it good!
Recipe: I doubled this as the recipe below is for 2 pork chops, I made 4 and had about 1/4 of the mixture left.
crunch up pork rinds in a blender - get about a cup (I crunched about 2/3 of the bag)
1/2 packet of ranch dressing (powder)
1/4 c of shake type parmesan cheese.
Mix all ingredients above.
Take the pork chops and pat dry. Put salt/pepper on them
make a dredge of 1 egg and full fat cream (1 tbspn I think) and mix
take chops and put in egg mixture, then put in liquid mixture. Sear on medium heat on both sides.
Preheat oven to 325. After searing put in a sprayed casserole dish and bake for 25 minutes
You couldn't tell it wasn't flour - it was delicious! Also - very moist.
S - a drink of some type - preferably protein
Vits: no but will
water: low

You might not have ate much but what you did eat sounds really good!!!
I'll have to check out the pork rinds and see what's on them. I use to love those before WLS but I haven't had any since.
So happy you get to enjoy your grandbabies!!

Be careful with the Pork Rinds - I think I ate too many last night and had a mini-dump... Wasn't typical dump symptoms, but had a horrible belly ache, burping like crazy and finally went to the bathroom, then I felt better.
Not sure if it was related - but think it had something to do with it.
