WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Good Morning LW's!!!! The days are going so fast I can't keep up to the date. It's so hard to believe there is only 1 more week in January.
I got another injection in my bladder last night. I'm cramping some today but it's bearable. It should start feeling better tomorrow. After the last injections I usually get 3 pain free days and then start cramping before I go back again. She says the time will lengthen as my bladder heals. She said I am not drinking enough fluids and she wants me to work on that this week. I told her it took years for me to be able to down 4 Protein drinks a day and I'm struggling to get anything else in. She didn't care....and I guess I'm glad she doesn't bend the rules. I got over 100 grams a day in my drinks. I don't think I can eat enough to make that up. Except for the eggs/eggbeaters in the morning I'm not eating any more than I use to. I'm going to try and figure out how to make a yogurt Protein drink this evening since that's the first thing she asked me. Anne suggested putting Powdered milk in it for for more Protein and I think that is a great idea but I think I better ask her before I try that since it's not on my list.
Breakfast: 1 Egg and 1/3 cup Eggbeater Egg Whites
Lunch: Deli ham and cheese and maybe some peas
Snack: Baby Carrots and PB
Snack: Popcorn
Dinner: Left over Steak and Vegetable
Snack: Popcorn

Do you stick with this menu and stay in the 800 cal. / 107 protein range? At 5 years out I try to stay under 1300 calories.

I sure hope you can get to feeling better. I go to Sonic almost everyday and get a Route 44 Unsweet Tea. I'm sure it is caffeine, but it helps with my fluid totals. I do add my Lemon Tea to it after I drink about half of it plain.
Another long day. We have to go to a funeral this afternoon. Our past board chairman's wife passed away. She had a UTI and got a staff infection that ruined one of her heart valves and it had just been horrible. Play practice tonight. Tomorrow night is dress rehearsal and performances Saturday & Sunday. I'm going to try and remember to take a picture when I get dressed tonight and post it on Facebook. Showing y'all how pregnant I am in this play!!

I've been drinking a lot of decafe peppermint tea. It does seem to calm my bladder. I'm going to drink a big cup before I go for my next appointment. I guess I didn't have much in my bladder when she emptied it but I had just went to the BR before I left the house.
Please remember to take that picture and post it....hahaha!!!!! I haven't been getting any of your posts of FB for some reason but I will be sure to check your page.
I WANT A WENDY'S CHILI........!!!!!! I wonder if I will ever be able to have it again.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so

Hi Roz, when I have Greek yogurt I have Fage Total Greek yogurt and in the UK that has live cultures so that helps me intestinally. Not sure if it'd help your bladder, but just a thought.
Low protein today and I've been hungry as a result Must work on the protein number... maybe the carbs too, but while I'm maintaining I'm OK with it.

I'm excited because I am allowed to have the FAGE. That's what she wants me to use to make a Protein drink. I just called her office to ask if I can add the powdered milk for extra protein. The girl who answered had the VS in December. I told her about our LW board.
I'm guessing it is the Mac and cheese that's making you hungry. Carbs make me crave or feel hungry. Do you make your own Mac n Cheese. A serving of Krafts is 290 calories with only 13 Protein. That would scare the crap out of me but since I am older and not very active my body doesn't handle carbs very well.....they go straight to my tummy!
