What to do next

I had an appointment with my doctor on Friday, I was heartbroken when he said I may be at the end of my weight loss journey and at the begining of maintaning my weight loss. I thought I would cry right there in his office. I posted in my support group on facebook and got my head straightened out. It's no one's job except mine to say when I'm going to stop loosing weight. I have done perfect in my eating and drinking the last two days and I went to the gym Thursday and today. TOday I lasted 5 min longer on the bike than I did on thursday so small NSV!!! I am buckling down and sticking to a very very strict diet plan. I had bought some salad mix that I didn't want to go bad so the last two days I finised that up and tomorrow I'm starting the pouch test. The nut said I could do a few days of just liquids if I didn't want to do the pouch test or to extend the liquid phase of the pouch test by a few days that this may help to tighten my tummy a bit more. So I'm going to continue to do my exercising, working on lasting longer each and every visit to the gym even if it's only a minute a day I AM going to add time to my work outs. I am going to do the pouch test and On monday or Tuesday I will get the results back from my blood work, ekg, urine test, and breathing tests. I know my oxygen level in my blood is low so hopefully the doc has an idea how to improve that. I also added an additional vitamin d3 and calcium. I found a gummie that has both plus I'm taking calcium mini's I'm still taking my multivitamin and b12 oh and my foic acid. I'm working on getting in ten - twelve glasses of water a day. I'm hoping the doc has some answers for me and I'm also going to talk to him about getting on some asthma meds because I'm finding that my asthma is kicking into high gear when I exercise. Enough so that I can't get my heart rate in the target range, The highest I got it today was 148 but I averaged around 140. I was just wheezing so bad after I started exercising I thought I was going to pass out. So hopefully he will give me something for that too. If in the next two months I do not loose any weight I'm going to consult a plastic surgeon to see about a tummy tuck. I researched them and they say that I only need to be in maintanence for six months to qualify for the tummy tuck. I figure two months of strict diet and progressive exercise I SHOULD loose at lease a pound or two to prove to me that I can continue loosing. So that's my plan and I'm sticking to it. OH and the lack of oxygen in my blood scared me enough to quit smoking So I'm smoke free too :D

Woo hoo!  I am so glad to hear you stopped smoking.  That is a ***** of an addiction.  If you can beat that then you can beat your eating issues.  And you will feel so much better now.  It will help you be more active, too.

you have a sleeve not a pouch but the pouch test shouldn't hurt you.  I am so happy you quit smoking.  Esp. with your asthma, it is so dangerous.  No matter how much you weigh, breathing is critical.

Weigh and measure your food, not yourself and you will get to where your body wants to be.

I agree! Weigh and measure the food. Our minds can get crazy with the numbers.
