Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

I woke up thinking it was Wednesday and was disappointed when I realized I still had 2 more days of work before our cheer trip .....LOL.  Happy Tuesday LW'S!!!!!!

I go to my 2nd appointment with my new Doctor (NP).  She isn't really a Dr. but she knows more about IC than any Dr. I have had.

Price,

I made the mini Cobbler from the recipe you shared on Facebook.  I substituted Carbquik for the flour, splenda instead of sugar, only used 4 tbls of butter, used Hood Low Carb Milk, used Brown Sugar Splenda instead of regular brown sugar and I only had Sugar Free Cherry Pie Filling so I used that instead of canned peaches.  Even with all the substitutes, it was really good.  I had to cook it longer than the recipe called for to get it done probably because of the juice in the pie filling.  With the subs I made, each one has 101 calories, 5.4 grams of fat, 13.7 carbs, 3.5 fiber, 1.8 protein

sounds great.  I bought canned peaches but that is as far as I have gotten.  I haven't even gotten my regular carbquick rolls made lately.  Maybe tomorrow if it really snows.  Thanks for reporting back.

There are some awesome NPs out there - I hope you get IC figured out as best you can.

I just upped my magnesium citrate as I wasn't doing the 2:1 ratio - I was just doing 300mg as per Vitalady's starter pack with 1,800 calcium (and then I added extra calcium)... I'm upping the magnesium slowly as I don't want any accidents, but hopefully it'll reflect in next months labs (unlikely in next week's dexa though).  Meh - the only way is up, so I'm happy.

B Protein coffee (30)
S Cheese (20)
L Spaghetti bolognese w LOTS of parmesan (45)
D Fillet of fish (25)

Protein total (120)
F 72+
V All in (inc 6 calcium batches) nightime iron, vit C & copper & strontium batches pending
