I'm down some too. I think I reported somewhere around 123 last week. I'm down to about 120 this morning after a week of de-grazing and de-carbing a bit.

No weigh in for me today.  The last few weeks have been very eventful.  First I had my ER visit due to my abdominal pain, then an ambulance ride to another hospital and a two day stay.  After that my daughter had stomach pains so I took her to the ER.  Then my boyfriend went in for a cardiac ablation to treat his irregular heart beat.  He had a bit of a rough go of it for a few days but he is fine now.  Next his father was taken to the ICU unit at another hospital and put on a vent.  He is off the vent and in a regular room so he is doing better.  Then I had a follow up with my doctor about my stomach pain and he ordered an upper GI to see what's going on.  Then on Friday I was rummaging through my kitchen drawer looking for something and sliced the tip of my finger off on a food processor blade.  Another trip to the ER, a different one this time.  Got that wrapped up and told not to work for a week.  Thank God we are finally getting sick pay or I would be screwed.  

While at the ER I almost asked a persistent sore throat I have dealing with for the last month or so but I decided not to since it wasn't too bad.  Woke up yesterday with the worst sore throat I've ever had.  It felt like I was swallowing glass every time I tried to drink anything.  I went to urgent care where they did the rapid strep test, which came out negative so they did a culture and sent me home with a prescription for oral Lidocaine, which doesn't help.  I stayed in bed all day yesterday and woke up in even more pain.  Then my daughter started crying from the bathroom because she couldn't stop vomiting, along with diarrhea.  While I was at the ER and urgent care they were packed with people who had the same symptoms.  And Tuesday night when my granddaughters stayed over the 4 year old was up all night vomiting.  This is the worst flu season in years around here.  Last week there were 3 people who called in at work and I am sure it's even worse this weekend.

Anyway, back to the ER with her and while I was there I asked them to look at my throat because I saw some pus pockets there.  I had pleaded with the doctor at urgent care to give me antibiotics because it had been going on too long to be viral and because of the pus pockets but she refused even though I told her it has been years since I've taken antibiotics so I wasn't worried about developing resistant.  So at least this doctor gave me a prescription for Amoxicillin so hopefully I will start to feel better soon.  They gave my daughter IV fluids and a shot of Zoltan for the vomiting and she felt much better so we stopped at the store to get our prescriptions filled and some supplies and I plan on staying in bed all day until I feel human again.

I am dreading all the medical bills that will be coming in.  Even with insurance I still have to pay 20% so I know it won't be pretty :( 

And that is why I didn't weigh myself today.
