Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

Happy Friday!!!   Two days a in a row at 120...I'm claiming it!!!!!  That was always my rule during the losing stage...had to be 2 days in a row or it didn't count. Once I got to maintenance I jumped between 118-120 but my goal was always in the middle at 119.

Any special plans this weekend?  DGS #3 is having his first birthday party on Saturday and we have a competition on Sunday which makes for a Fun Fun weekend!    I'm also going to take my "I can eat" list with me and try to find some of the brands that my Dr. approves. I'm not sure what I'm going to eat at the competition.  There is a food court but I'm guessing all fast foods have some kind of preservatives in them. Usually we stop at a mini mart and I grab beef jerky and cheese sticks but those are no no's too for awhile.  This is going to take some thought......

How much does Newton weigh?  He looks tiny.  My DD#3 bought a Maltese right before Christmas and she is the cutest little thing. I think they said she would get to be 5.5 lbs.  Yesterday she took her to get two shots and then carried out a limp little puppy and put her in my DD's arms. I guess she had a bad reaction to the meds.  They had my DD carry into another room where they made her sign a paper stating that she wanted them to save her.  They put her on  oxygen, V's, Benadryl, and pain meds. For hours she waited to hear from them.  Finally around 7:00pm they called her and said she was doing good and she could come and pick her up.  Her friend got the brother to this one and her Vet said they could only give him 1 shot a month because of his size.  Her little one had 2 shots last week and then 2 more yesterday.  I guess Vets are just like WLS Surgeons.  They all have a different opinion and they don't all know what they are doing.

Sounds Good!

I agree 100% with on the vet to WLS surgeon comparison. Newton is about 22 pounds now--a pampered old man at 5 years old.

WOW Linda....you are my only poster today!   So strange....there weren't any other posts and then when I clicked off and came back on there were more.

I loved my bookkeeping job and I sooooo remember working on budgets, taxes, etc.  Did you do this before computer time?  There weren't very many Jewelry stores back then so we were extremely busy but especially at Christmas and our fiscal ended in January.  We had a category for each type of jewelry and then broke down into gems etc. I had a huge ledger book with pages of columns that had to be added up each month and then balanced with inventory.  I used to bring my ledger book home and DD#1 would help me add up all of those columns or hunt for any mistakes.  She got so excited when it all balanced at the end. She is a CPA now and still gets a rush when her audit jobs are completed and all of her reports balance.

I can't have any chocolate now.  I tried a little piece and I started cramping almost immediately.  No wonder I hurt so bad before Christmas....  I am allowed white chocolate but since I am decarbing I haven't tried any.  I'm going to avoid it as long as I can.

Except the for cookies it sounds super!

I can't believe I haven't been on here since Friday.  Wow it has been unbelievable busy.

I did do the big ledger books and I also love to balance things!!  I still get excited when they balance like they are suppose to.  I LOVE doing the bank reconciliations, probably one of my favorite things to do.
