Menus and Miles Thurs. Jan. 9th
I think I would get a 2nd opinion Price. I'm glad you aren't in constant pain though.
Firing would be so hard! You probably know these people personally but I guess you have to set that aside.
We go to Indianapolis next weekend and I am soooo excited to get away even though it's just a weekend. Are you going to warmer weather?
Hope you cold clears up!
Sounds Good Price!

yes, I am going to Aiken SC. It is suppose to be 70 but rain on Sat. We drive rain or shine for competitons unless it is lightening. I have good rainwear.
Firing is hard. We have such a small agency and I think of these folks as partners, not just employees. Hopefully it will all shake out for the best and we will get back on an even keel.

70's nice...hopefully it doesn't rain all day! Do you ever come north..close to Pittsburgh?
I wouldn't be any good at firing so I guess I will never run my own business. It was even hard when they were going to lay someone off her. Everyone took a pay cut so she could stay. Are the other side though I couldn't have left someone to take a cut to keep my job. I would think I owed them and would probably volunteer to do their work for them. It didn't seem to faze this girl at all.

I competed last year in the Cleveland area but I doubt I will go back. 9 hrs is a lot for a pony to travel.

Fantastic news, roz! I'm trying to get myself back into high gear again but I'm worried I'm just not gonna make it. I struggle a lot at night and I want to eat eat eat but mostly during the day I've been good. I'm trying to decarb as best I can, lately I'm clockin in around 50grams of carbs a day BUT I can say that those are NOT coming from refined/sugary/white carbs...so I guess that's something? I eat a lot of vegetables but I don't kno where else to cut down. Hmm. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale hadn't budged but I'm hoping my official weigh in tomorrow will show weight loss PLEASE! We shall see...
B: last slice of egg frittata (bacon, spinach, a little parmesan)
L: chop't mexican caesar salad...I omitted the tortilla chips from the salad so it was just romaine, grilled chicken, a bit of cojita cheese, and fresh jalapenos. I had their "spa" (or light) tex mex ranch dressing on the side.
S: about an ounce of roast chicken breast that I brought with me and a cojack cheese stick with one slice of proscuitto
D: headin to my moms tonight for dinner. She made roast beef...she will likely make mashed potatoes too and I will try to avoid those like the devil...hopefully she makes some other vegetable on the side too
S: depending on how it goes at mom's, maybe a half of a skinny cow ice cream sandwich

I eat popcorn at night. I bought a Microwave Popcorn Popper and add a little Canola oil, 2 TBS of popcorn and salt. I love the crunch and it keeps my hands busy. It also helps my bowels to move in the morning.
Are you counting NET grams. I would never be able to stop at a 1/2 ice cream sandwich and that would really set off more cravings for me.
Eat extra Roast Beef and AVOID the potatoes!! The rest of your menu looks pretty good!

Maybe racking your sodium levels will help a bit? I know that when I eat anything more salty than usual I retain water like crazy and the scale stays put! I see you've got bacon and parmesan and mexican spiced salad and proscuitto ham all of which sound DELICIOUS but are fairly high in sodium usually. Just a thought.... It took me a while to figure that out in my own diet as I seem to be particularly sensitive to retaining water post-op. If it doesn't effect you than I am SO SO jealous cause I want to dive in to your lunch plate. Thing I miss the most about living in the States (after excellent shopping of course) is real Mexican food! Good luck with the high gear mode. You can do it!
Good job, Roz! : )
Hi guys,
I've been doing pretty dang good at not grazing; it's a head thing. I'm hoping I can do this for 28 days and make it a new habit.
