Back when I was drinking more shakes I would sometimes put a drop of peppermint extract in my chocolate shake. Was very yummy.Don't know if that would bother you or not.  pretty interesting that "naturally flavored" things are likely to have MSG.  Yuck.  I need to read every label I guess.

B oatmeal with cranberries, walnuts and egg

L salmon burger, salsa, acorn squash, veggie mix

S deli turkey, laughing cow wedge, spinach rolled in flat out

D ham, acorn squash

S greek yogurt, half banana, bran buds, almond meal

miles no, fluids 12 cups so far, vites yes ( am going to up my vitamin D to 2000 a day total), numbers good

I will be so glad when the salty ham is all gone!

Sounds good Gina!  I might be joining you in the breakfast department since I can't have my Mint Cookie.  Our Farmers Market makes the best salt n pepper sausage and it is on my Approved list!!!!  I told DH I was picking some up tomorrow after work. Eggs I have never agreed but I used to be able to eat the eggbeaters without a problem so she told me to only buy the whites because the whole egg ones have coloring.

Sounds Good!

Natural Flavoring doesn't always mean MSG. It can be many things. Somehow they got permission by the wonderful FDA to say MSG is natural though. When I checked JayRobb protein it very specifically said no MSG.

I'm going to check out the JayRobb.  Can you only buy it on line?  I am going to call the companies but other than that how do I know if it is good MSG or bad?  I suppose the labels will tell me.

I think it's the chocolate in my Mint Cookie that is probably causing me the pain.

Welcome to our LW Board!!!!   Not stopping until you get to the bottom of your Normal BMI is the smartest thing to do.  We all have some bounce back (as much as 15 pounds) so you want to start out really low so your bounce back keeps you in the normal range.  You might get comments that you are losing to much or you look sick but it's worth it to go low.

Although your meals look good your Protein looks pretty low to me.  It's really hard to get enough Protein in by just food.  I have to keep my Protein levels at around 135 or 140 to maintain where I want to be but with around 100 just from my Protein drinks plus food I am way over that and I still bounce around a little.

Come back and join us!  We have a great group of posters on our board!!
