Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Good Morning LW's!!! It's hard to believe it's Friday already. We got about 6" of snow and it really drifted over night. Schools were delayed 2 hours. DD#1 just called and she is stuck in her driveway with the baby after taking her DD to the school bus. It's too cold and the snow is too deep for her to walk up their long steep driveway with the baby. Her DH is suppose to be on his way. Fortunately she grabbed the diaper bag and she has a bottle for the little one.
I'm super excited today and very hopeful!!! At 1:00 I have my appointment at my gynecologists Drs. office with the woman who is suppose to be very knowledgeable working with IC (painful bladder syndrome) patients!! This last week has been non-stop cramping. I have so many questions for her. I copied the ingredients in my Protein Drinks, Carbquik and Carbquik banana muffins. I have the list of IC friendly foods that my Surgeons office sent me, and I have a copy of the medications that the last Dr. put in my bladder that brought me to my knees a half hour later. I'm glad I've had a few weeks to prepare because I really need answers so I can keep my weight off because it seems like carbs and Peppermint tea are the only things that doesn't irritate my bladder.

I sure hope you get things straightened out. Being in pain is so debilatating over time.
It is just bitter here. 12 this morning with a stiff wind. We had a dusting of snow but it is gone. The sun is bright and beautiful, just can't compete with the cold. No walks or ponies for me today. I think I need to get DH to get the Wii set up for days like this. I could go to the gym but it would be faster to do something here. Lots of inside stuff to do so I can stay busy.
Haven't thought much about food. Your soup sounds good but I still have bean/ham in the frig that no one will eat but me. I put most of it in the freezer and I still can't eat enough to get rid of it

If I lived close buy I would definitely help you out with that soup! I think it's my favorite soup ever! My vegetable was ok but DH likes it with red broth (tomato soup which I can't have) so there is a ton left. I'm guessing he will pitch it today. I'm going to have to make some of what he likes in a smaller quantity and then freeze what's left over so I don't have to make it again for awhile. He is such a picky eater and hates change!
WOW...that's cold! The wii sounds like a good idea if you can't get out.
I don't remember ever trying my lemon tea warm. I'm going to have to do that. I have been drinking a lot of Peppermint tea and the Dr. wants me to try vanilla.
Sounds Good price!

I hated mine after the Christmas ham too! I made one and then we had it at my brothers house. I should have drunk more water. My scales are finally coming down a little.
Sounds Good!
