Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Back to work today! Normally when DH and I take off work we have appointments or we are leaving town for some reason so it was nice just being home for a change. I told him maybe retirement wouldn't be so bad after all but when this morning came I was anxious to get back to work and back on schedule. I might consider working part time though.

Part-time work, sounds like the best of both worlds as you still get to see people at work, but it doesn't become a bind. I'd happily do that now but I'd miss the full time money!! :-D I'm quite happy having a 4 day week this week though ;-)

I LOVE 4 day weeks! A 3 day might be better yet! I have 1.5 years before I can even think about retiring but I might consider part time then. I guess it is going to depend how on how DH does at home alone.
Iol....I understand about the pizza. Sometimes I really crave it and if I have a piece I'm good for quite awhile. Unlike cake or cookies...I get hooked on them way to easy.

A wedding....how exciting!! My DD got married this summer (2nd marriage) and it was so wonderful!
I'm glad to see you are keeping your calorie goal under 1000. I think that's where some posters make a mistake. They start to high and then when they get to maintenance they have a hard time maintaining at that amount and there is no adjustment room.
You might want to consider the Dannon's Light n Fit Greek Yogurt. They only have 80 calories with 12 Protein. That seems like a lot of calories for the same amount of calories.

Hi Roz,
I really need to meet with our retirement system and go over my options. I'm pretty sure I have at least 1 1/2 years to go to get the benefits of this addition to my job.If it wasn't for that I would be out of here next August (not that I don't love my job because I do). I just want to do what I want when I want to-LOL!!
Play practice starts tonight so it will be a long day today. I'm really trying to stay on track.

Play Practice...oh boy here goes the long days...I'll be thinking about you!
I need to buy some meets I am allowed to eat so I can make some pizza chips. I think cheese, ham and hamburger would sounds like a good combination. We always have left over steak I could ground up too. I'm going to have to remember to do that.
Sounds Good Linda!

I've been at this job 4 years and I love it but if DH is home it would be nice to have a few days off a week. I have about 1.5 years before I can do that though.
Sounds Good!!
