Ok so I'm up 2.5 lbs
I haven't done the best job over the holidays but I think my biggest issue has been I haven't had my prilosec and that has made it very difficult for me to get my liquids in. I'm averaging about 20 oz a day. WAY WAY TOO LOW!!!!! I'm forcing myself to do protein shakes today to get my liquids in but I have been sick to my stomach has been really sick the past week or so and I seem to eat to try to calm it and I have been eating things like crackers trying to get the acid out. YUcK!!! I have had a few cookies over the past week but not enough to gain weight. I also assume I am in a stall because I haven't lost anything for two weeks and with each stall comes a weight gain of two to three pounds. SO here I am cutting carbs out of my diet again. I'm sticking to shakes and going to focus my meals on fish to get my protein in and keep my calories low. I have also had several days where I have been throwing up. Boy does that suck!!!!! I'm going back to shakes today and lots of fish but mostly working on getting in my liquids. I hope that my next weigh in is better. in the past two weeks I have gained 2.5 lbs and I can't WAIT to see that go away. I'm at 177 and can't wait to be below 170. That will be a day to rejoice. I have been so scared that this is it and I'm not going to loose any more. I have been about where I am right now for the past two months. YIKES!!! I am trying to continue to stay positive but it's getting more and more difficult. I'm so scared that I'm not going to loose any more. I am now seven months out and should be much closer to goal than I am. I'm also kind of torn because my nut wants my calories at 600-800 a day and when I raised them to 1000 I broke my stall and now that I'm back down on my calories I am gaining and stalled. UGH what to do what to do. I know mathematically I SHOULD be loosing much faster if I'm on less calories so I don't know where to go with my calories now. Stress has been a major factor in my life lately as well which we all know is a recipe for disaster when trying to loose weight. UGH. At seven months out I expected to be so much less weight than I am now. I figured I would be at around 155 by now. UGH thats a 22 pound difference. That is A LOT for weight loss surgery patient. Ok well this has been very random and all over the place so I"m going to go, just wanted to vent my frustrations and try to figure things out. Stay accountable and be honest about how i am feeling and where I am at. Hope everyone had a happy holiday, HUGS
first, go to Walmart and get the Priolec and take one am and one pm until you are no longer sick.
second, get your fluid in. take it like medicine if you have to but get it in. Did you read Tazz's report about an intestinal blockage? don't be crazy and let it happen to you. If it can happen to Tazz as much fluid as she gets, it can happen to anyone.
third, up protein, down carbs. It is pretty simple. forget calories. Get your protein in and it if means you have an extra 200 calories, so what.
forth and foremost, learn to eat in a manner that you don't have all this crazy up and down stuff, weight and emotion. find a group and go to it regularly. The important thing isn't if you are up 2 pounds or down 4, it is that you learn to eat so you can maintain for the rest of your life. If you reach goal in June instead of March, it is no big deal if you can maintain. This is the rest of your life. This isn't a race to goal.

I found some nnexium so I took one of those and so far this morning I've gotten 18oz of water in. I'm force feeding myself the water but hopefully after the nnexium starts working it won't be so hard!!! I didn't read the post on the blockage but that scares me!!!! I will definitely work on the water. I'm doing shakes tuna or chicken salad and a piece of meat for dinner I can't seem to get all my protein without the help of shakes but my carbs have been good except the past couple days. I average around twenty to thirty grams a day. And with the help of shakes around 120 in protein with the exception of the two weeks taking my nuts advice who said I should only be getting 60-80 screw that!!! I feel better doing the higher protein. I'm hoping this nnexium works!!! I need to get it togethe
another reason you may be feeling nauseous is because of dehydration... that will do it too.
get your fluids in #1 priority, if it is in the way of shakes - even better. Check the carbs/sugars in your protein powder too. Some are pretty high.

I'm using matrix and their carb level is pretty low. But I did get 40 oz in today so far. Thank god. I'm force feeding myself food and water because everything is making me sick. I did find that I can eat ricotta cheese and parmesean cheese with a little spaghetti sauce and so far it's not making me sick. I bought some flavored waters to see if I can handle that a little better than regular water. I'm gonna see how I feel after eating the fish because sometimes that makes me sick too. Seems like things too high in protein don't settle in my stomach well. If it doesn't sit well I'm going to go back to the ricotta for dinner. Hopefully all of this works!!!
